Large chains like Days Inn charge less and provide a good, room, great cable, and a breakfast, along with in room coffee.||This place charges $70 before taxes, and the foreigners at the front desk who smell of some pungent foreign food will become mean and hostile when you ask about in room coffee makers.||||The fridge is tiny and old.||||The microwave is very old.||The AC is very outdated, loud and useless.||||A hand made sign says there is coffee in the lobby, but there was non for four days including Sunday.||||The man who walks around in shorts told me to use minimum toilet paper because the drains are clogged. ||He kept asking when I would pay in cash. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI booked this motel a few days in advance thru Expedia. I paid upon arrival and was given my key to the room. I was assigned the room immediately next door to the reception, which I found slightly annoying, since it didnāt seem that the motel was very full. It didnāt feel very private, being separated from the motel owners by just a thin wall. I opened the door to the room and, although it seems relatively clean, there was a noticeable odor that both my girlfriend and I agreed smelled like meat. The room was also quite cold, and the window unit heater did not seem to be doing a very good job. Given that this was New Yearās Eve, I thought it would be bad luck to begin the new year in a motel with these conditions. I then booked the Hampton Inn, roughly 5 minutes down the road, and left the room. We did not leave a single trace in the motel roomā¦did not touch the toilet, or sink, or even sit on the bed. Literally popped our heads in the room, and promptly left. I returned to the reception after having booked the Hampton Inn and explained that there was a smell and that weād booked another hotel and would appreciate it if they could give us our money back. He said there was no way we could get our money back, even though we didnāt even use the room. I told him āok, well hereās the key card back. Have a good one.ā My advice to you is to spend double your money and go to the Hampton Inn down the road ⦠it was clean, has a hot tub, provided free breakfast, and most importantly our room did NOT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe room was spacious. The bathroom is very nice and up to date. In regards to the shower. The shower head is very good and you will feel fresh afterwards. The towels are nice and plush. Unlike the Marriott Country Inn which is twice the costs. The bed is comfy and I had no problem sleeping. Big flat screen tv with HD cable. There is a microwave, fridge, desk with chair and a few stands. Pretty good windows and the temperature is just right. I did not need to mess with the climate control. There is a place to hang up clothing. I wish that in my room there were more hangers but no biggie. Most importantly the room was very sanitary. I am very big on this factor as it will make me never come back. I will not complain. I just will never come back. No bugs etc. Room has zero odor. Again a very great location and at a very great deal. I have my reservations about staying at lower priced places as they usually have poor conditions. I was very happy with my stay and will probably be...
