I run a business in Toledo and me and my husband visits often on the weekends the owner seemed really nice when I placed an toGo order and it was incorrect had no problems with getting a replacement meal but on January 12 around 11am I ordered breakfast and my assistant picked it up only for me to get it and both orders were incorrect very upset and so I called to speak to the manager a male only for him to be rude and disrespectful telling me she wrote what I wanted down but she’s not in control of the kitchen and he needs to see the food to even see if It came from there, my reply is excuse me I card and receipt says I did all this was recorded on my business line he also stated I could send an email I kept asking for it to send the picture and receipt he kept being rude stating next time whoever needs to check the food my reply as a business if anyone puts in a order any where the business should make sure it’s what the customer ordered! And as I stated to him, I did not have a vehicle in that moment to bring it back up there myself, but he was so focused on being rude and nasty. I have never experienced such foolishness dealing with a restaurant very poor customer service so I emailed the owner Because I did ask to speak to her because she was really nice and pleasant. The last time he told me out of his mouth she’s not gonna do anything so he’s even speaking for the owner that is not anybody that I would have answering my phones, and dealing with my customers as a business , very dissatisfying with his customer service we will not be...

I took my mother and aunt out to lunch here. The waitress did an exceptional job. My aunt wanted to order macaroni and cheese from the kids menu and the waitress explained that it was truly intended for children because it was Kraft from a box. I appreciated her being up front about this so that my aunt did not order it with the expectations of home made mac and cheese. My aunt changed her order to fish, fries, soup and mashed potatoes. That is quite an array of food but it was my aunt's decision to order that from the wide range of options. She enjoyed her meal. My mother ordered a BLT and fries. The BLT was absolutely loaded with bacon and my mother found it and pleasurable. She ended up taking the fries home because there was a lot of food. I ordered a cheese and mushroom omelet. When I placed my order I refrained from getting the hash browns and toast that comes with it. The omelet was good and quite large. I also ordered coffee which I want to make note of because sometimes coffee can have a bold and acidic taste to it. This coffee was smooth and quite enjoyable! Great conversation and a...

I used to love this place, but we will never come back again. My 4 year old was crying and the server came over to be nice and sweet with her but as soon as her back turned and she was speaking to the couple next to us she made the comment about how she hates when babies cry especially when we could have handled it a different better way. We did nothing to our child except ignore the whining and trying to talk to her. Then 2 of my children had to use the bathroom so I took them and came back to our unfinished food already taken away. Our check came with an automatic gratuity of 20% on it which has never ever been a thing we've had any of the other times we came here. Absolutely disrespectful, there was no mention up front and the server could have kept her parenting comments to herself or at least not bringing other...

First visit to Reynolds Garden Cafe located at 1220 S Reynolds Rd, Toledo, OH 43615. Stopped by at 6:30 AM to give it a try while waiting on Tireman to open at 7:30. Ordered coffee, good-n-hot, placed order, food came out right away, hot-n-fresh, no complaints. Customer service was good. Never realized they have a full bar, thought it was strange in a breakfast restaurant, but they also serve lunch & dinner. The waitress explained to me the that the restaurant rents out for private events; baby showers, bachelor/bachelorette, birthday, Christmas, parties weddings, etc. It was a good experience clean restrooms, good customer service and food all reasonably priced. I'll be back when I'm in the neighborhood. Thanks.

UPDATED REVIEW 2/22/25 Unfortunately this place has become another hit and miss restaurant. Occasionally you will luck out and get a good meal and service to go along with it. At this point, with the rapid decline in quality at most places now, I would settle for just a good meal and deal with the lack of service. On the latest visit here, our server neglected our table for a good 15 minutes, instead choosing to bus her tables, which they had staff to do this and visiting with her friends. At this point I was in search of another server and table. We finally placed our orders with different server. When the meals came to the table, I had a nice long black hair sticking out of my hashbrowns. Enough said.

Down home friendly service adds to the appeal of this family friendly restaurant. I've been here several times and have yet to be disappointed. Today we ordered off of their specials menu, the beef and noodles, and even after splitting it my husband and I had to take home the leftovers. Very generous portions for a great price! I should be embarrassed to share this next point, but I'm not: sometimes we come to RGC just for the onion rings! They are so big and light and crispy, no need to dab these with a paper towel. All the flavor, none of the oiliness. The pictures are of split orders.
