My husband and I were shopping for a new mattress a few weeks ago and landed in this store. Lucky us because the manager Joh’ni was working. We didn't want to seem over desperate (but we were) and to be honest were not in the mood for a pushy sales person. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved this woman. Not only was she patient, juggled us and another couple without either of us noticing, really listened to each of our issues (which are polar opposite) and educated us on the brand of mattress we had done research on and all the different types. She had us timing ourselves on each mattress in different positions, gave us more than enough time to truly try these mattresses out. At one point to prove appoint Joh’ni stuck an egg in a Ziploc bag behind my husband’s neck showing how amazing the mattress supported him. We called her bluff until she slammed the egg (in the bag) to the floor and it broke. Her honesty and knowledge was unreal and we ended up deciding on the middle priced mattress something she actually pointed us to. After spending more than we expected but on what we truly needed and felt was a value considering how much she was able to discount and throw in… our mattress, box spring, adjustable frame, pillows, mattress topper & sheets came the next day (after Joh’ni worked her magic on the phone prior with the warehouse). I cannot recommend this store and this manager more. Best several hours spent shopping ever! On a side note we ended up in Toms River after going to the Mattress Firm Lacey location at opening and waiting 45 minutes outside as no employees had shown up on time. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of working with Kyle at the Tom’s River location on Route 37, and I can confidently say it was the best mattress shopping experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked into the store, Kyle was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about every product on the floor. We spent nearly two hours with him as he patiently guided us through the entire selection process. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for in a mattress, explained the differences between each option in a way that was easy to understand, and never once made us feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. What stood out the most was his willingness to answer every single question no matter how small and address all of our concerns with professionalism and honesty. It was clear he genuinely wanted to help us find the right mattress, not just make a sale. He was also able to find us a better quality mattress at a much better price than one we had already placed a deposit on at another store. Because of that, we ended up canceling our previous order and buying through Kyle instead. I don’t often right a review, but If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Read moreFirst, let me start off with Craig. His salesmanship and product knowledge were unmatched. By far, one of the best experiences I have had with a sales professional in quite sometime. With that being said, the warranty exchange policy of the company left a sour taste in my mouth. I purchased a mattress for $1,699 which was defective. Due to this, I placed a warranty claim which was approved. I upgraded my purchase to a $3,599 (Purple 3) and added an MF900 adjustable base $2,499. This particular mattress was having a $400 promotion offered by the manufacturer for President's day which I was told could not be applied to my purchase because I was using a warranty exchange. I find this policy to resemble "theft." I am not allowed to participate in a promotion because I was utilizing a warranty exchange, which the company approved due to the default in the product? Bad business if I do say so myself especially when I upgraded my purchase from the previous sale by over $4,000. I do hope the Purple 3 is not defective. I certainly do not want to go through this...
