called to place a to go order, phone was picked up and left off the ringer. no one came in o the phone or anything. i could hear the kitchen in the background. hung up. then proceeded to call back for it to go to voicemail. finally got someone on the phone, to be told they weren’t taking phone orders to order online. so. i place an online order. says ready in twenty. show up in to pick up my order to be told they never received my order. okay cool. so i tell the manager to refund my order, and he says he can’t refund the order i have to call corporate. when i asked for the corporate phone number, the manager john picked up the phone and called the police because i asked for a refund for the order HE received money on. absolutely poor customer service. and mind you this is ALL after i watched him tell a pregnant woman (also picking up a to go order), that she was being impatient after waiting 45 minutes AND make inappropriate comments about her name. AND tell a gentleman (with wife and two young daughters in tow) that the door was right there and pointed them out after the man questioned why his party of four was still waiting after watching the hostess seat three other parties of the same size before them. i’m not sure if John is a GM, manager or owner of the establishment, but the fifteen minutes i was in the establishment, he was downright nasty and should CLEARLY not have a position in any type of restaurant. he does not know how to handle customers appropriately. if he is unable to handle customers, he should maybe reconsider his career choices, as it’s clearly not working...

Please be advised that my review is not based on the quality and heat of the food (it was outstanding; the cooks did an amazing job), but the wait service. It was very poor. When we were showed to our table, it took our server almost 20 minutes to bring us a menu or even introduce themselves (this should take less than a minute upon getting seated at a table). When they did, they didn't seem interested in even being there; to me they were not welcoming. They just gave us menus and that was it. When we were finally ready to order, they were nowhere to be found. There needs to be more wait staff at this location, especially during the lunch hour which is the busiest time. My husband and I received our food after about 40 minutes, and we observed another couple waiting for the same amount of time, after which they left understandably so, because they were so disgusted for having to wait so long. I honestly lost my appetite because the service was so bad.
In addition to needing more wait staff, I suggest that this establishment invest in quality training and re-training of its employees. To be a business whose specialty should be satisfying the needs of its patrons/customers, the service was severely lacking, and my husband and I don't plan on returning.

Once I arrived at the other store about 2 hours later because I had to get into work but I still didn't want the food to go to waste they told me that that store manager supervisor is very rude and nasty and he is always acting as if he does not like his job I am very displeased and unhappy with the service that I received because it was an honest mistake and they know that there are two IHOPs they should answer the phone and say this is the one located here so it would not be any confusion because it is very confusing I do deserve a gift card and an email with an apology I will be telling my corporate office not to go here for breakfast as we usually do so they have just lost a...
