I found a jewel. I entered as a new customer minutes before closing in need of some protein and a salad after leaving the gym hoping they could accommodate this. (Not a lot of healthy places around that area) The owner was friendly and willing to accommodate me. Even the cooks were kind enough to service me though it was their closing time and they weren't even mean about it. I tipped all the cash I had on me because of this.
One of the customers there recommended the Village Salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions & Feta) - which tasted amazing!!!
The owner recommended the Lamb gyro meat option since it's what they could do at the time considering their closing hours.
The Lamb was so tender and juicy, coupled with feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, & onions, it was a perfect blend of ingredients. Everything was full of flavor. The salad came with dressing but the flavors were so on point that I didn't even have to use it.
This place has my business and I know exactly where I will be going whenever I'm in the area. Will be supporting this...
Read moreI ordered 2 Gyros and stuffed grapes leaves as well as 2 spinach pies and rice pudding, about $50. I had them deliver it on February 18th, they told me about 40 minutes for delivery it took them an hour and 20 minutes. Both Gyros were cold, grape leaves were saturated in oil to the point of mush .I called to complain and spoke to a man named George, I told him the issues about the extremely late delivery Tim and the quality of the food and his attitude toward the situation was that he didn't really care much. He basically said he was sorry and there was nothing he could do about it. Unbelievable $50 for cold Gyros and mushy grape leaves. No mention of a credit or a refund. I order there alot and have been eating there for over 20years . After tonight I'm done with getting anything ever again. I should of been offered a credit or a refund not an I don't know what to tell you attitude. Bye...
Read moreIt is one of the best Greek restaurants on the island. I always get the gyro. Beautifully overstuffed and delicious. The fries here are great, too. I recently tried the pork souvlaki. Wow, what a disappointment for a place like this. The pork was so tough that I wound up having to dismantle the sandwich and trim and discard inedible pieces of pork. I had about thirty percent of edible meat left. Traditionally, pork tenderloin or pork shoulder is used for this dish. Tenderloin is just what it says "Tender-loin" It is also more expensive than the pork shoulder that. no doubt. was used on my sandwich. At twelve bucks a sandwich, in my humble opinion, the better cut of meat should have been used. If you go here, do yourself a favor and stick to the gyro. They do...
