ALDI — Local services in Town of Babylon

I went there the night before last. I wasn’t aware of closing time because the doors were open and apparently I had another 30 minutes to spare to shop. Within 10 minutes and I was almost done I was kicked out in the rudest way possible. It wasn’t even closing time!!!!!! To the point where another customer was arguing with a rude employee!!! I get off off of work and I understand it was 30 minutes until closing, but 10 minutes into my shopping 20 minutes until doors should be locked, I was kicked out in the most embarrassing and rudely way. The other customer felt the same way where he was like “im a paying customer the, you guys should still be open and you can call the police if you like. Because I have rights and you can’t close right now.” . The employee who was a tall a man told me “hey Ms. We are closing you need to get out!!” I just left my stuff there with my quarter still in the cart. I am so disgusted and appalled on how I was treated and frankly this was my first time shopping at Aldi’s. Never again!!!!! I will be contacting the source because this absolutely unacceptable and I am a content creator so my experience of this location will definitely be shared!!! The one and ONLY cashier ringing people up had a nasty attitude and was rushing people through their transactions. I was there for a Doordash shop and pay so I need the items to be in bags so that I can drop them off at people's houses. The cashier immediately started ringing my items up without acknowledging my existence and began throwing them carelessly into a shopping cart that was next to him. When I asked him if they had any bags because it was for a Doordash order his response was "If YOU can find any anywhere." They kept ringing up the items and throwing them in the cart until I told them I literally could not accept the order without a bag, at which point they made me purchase multiple of their reusable bags that I had to go and grab from another checkout aisle. They rang the bags up threw them in the cart with the rest of the items and push the cart away from them with an attitude while rudely telling me to grab my receipt. I didn't get a "have have a nice day", "thank you" or anything. Dashers and Uber eats drivers beware, expect to have a problem with getting your items put...

The was the first time shopping at an Aldi store. It was pretty good. A lot like LIDL, but no fresh bakery items like LIDL. That was kind of a bummer. Selection could be better in the meat section. The meat section is small and there's not much to pick from. Cold cut section is also quite small and mostly consisted of Turkey and chicken. No roast beef, bologna, sliced cheeses. The only ham was honey ham and that was pretty good. The prices on the fresh organic veggies really can't be beat unless you grow them yourself. Their prices for regular produce and organic produce are quite comparable. This location has the Cosmic Crisp apples that came out on the market about 2 years ago now. This is the first store I have seen carrying them. Eggs were quite cheap at .59 a dozen. Large fresh pizza was under $4.00. Large loaves of white sandwich bread for .25.... not a typo the loaf of white bread was literally 25 cents. Good experience shopping here. I'll definitely...
