Abbott’s Frozen Custard- Lindenhurst — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

My cousin and I stopped in tonight because she was craving ice cream. I had been wanting to try this place because it has great reviews on Facebook, so I recommended it. This place definitely lives up to the hype! I got the chocolate almond flavor and the coffee cake, as I couldn't pick a favorite from the samples! My cousin got the oreo flavor, which was also delicious. One thing that stood out to me was how creamy each flavor was. The other was how great and attentive the staff was. Noah did a wonderful job of helping us and deserves nothing but praises! I cannot wait to come back and try the nondairy...

I am from Rochester, where Abbott's started many many years ago. As a child in the late '50s and '60s, our family went to Abbotts, at the Lake many times. I have moved to Long Island 13 years ago.Today, as my husband and I were driving home from a Dr visit in Lindenhurst , to my surprise I saw an Abbott's!! A little slice of " home" I was so excited! We went in, ordered my chocolate almond favorite, the staff was so sweet and friendly. I will be telling everyone here how delicious Abbott's custard is and they must come! Welcome to Long Island...

I'm a big fan of frozen custard, even more so than ice cream and frozen yogurt so naturally, I had to check this place out. The staff behind the counter were very friendly and quick to serve me. I got some sort of hot brownie sundae for around $8 which was absolutely delicious and actually a great portion size for the money.
