I very rarely complain about a service I receive, for multiple reasons. One, I am very understanding and know that nothing is perfect and two, I rarely stay in hotels so when I do I expect it to be a wonderful stay.
However, I was rather disappointed in my stay here.
To start with I was part of a bridal party (which I had made clear when I booked and confirmed my room). I asked if we could check in a little early and no one responded to my request.
Prior to arriving I called the hotel to find out if I could access my room around 2:30 or if the BRIDE could at least check into her room to begin to get ready. We were told that they were doing their best to "turn the rooms over" since there was a prior wedding, but I was pleased to hear that both of our rooms were ready at that point, so we made our way to the venue.
I checked into room 11 strong cottage. It was cute and had charm. The parking lot was very tight and crowded but I was able to squeeze my car in. The steps were "wonky" and steep. Again, I understand the old charm, but it wasn't ideal for heels and a dress.
Once inside the room it appeared to be clean on the surface, but as I began to settle in, I saw a lot of issues.
The room itself had a musty smell- living on Long Island I know that moisture is often an issue, but I am very sensitive to mold, and I could tell right away that the room had old moisture in it.
The bathroom appeared to be clean, but the floor had a large amount of dirt along the tile edge and wall. As if someone quickly moped but just pushed all the dirt to one side. There was very little toilet paper left on the roll and after using the bathroom just once I had to find more paper to refill the roll. It just felt awkward using the very last bit of toilet paper left from the prior guest staying there. The caulking around the drain in the shower was peeling up and felt funny to stand on while showering. The bathroom fan was also very loud and made a "Clunking" noise. We turned it off despite wanting to leave it on after showering to try to remove some more moisture from the small space.
The wall next to the bed alongside the bathroom had large scuffs on the wall and the paint on the end table was peeling off. The laminated information sheet felt sticky as if it had never been wiped off.
After attending the wedding my husband and I made our way back to the room and I had concerns about how clean the sheets were after seeing how the rest of the room was only "surface" cleaned. Once we settled in, we left the curtains open because the curtain rod was loosely hanging off the wall and we didn't want it to fall off and wake neighboring guests.
Once we laid down, we noticed a large amount of light coming through the front door, we opened and re-shut it but realized that the door did not make a complete seal, we were able to lock it but didn't feel very secure with being able to see daylight through the door.
The next morning, we checked out rather early, we were not very comfortable staying in a questionably clean room with an unsecure door.
I wanted to love this cute and quaint room, but it just fell short in too many areas for us to...
Read moreI am writing to offer my highest recommendation for Anita, the maitre d’ at the Three Village Inn, who recently went above and beyond to make my friend's wedding day absolutely perfect. From start to finish, Anita’s dedication, professionalism, and grace under pressure were nothing short of incredible.
Throughout the day, I was amazed at how effortlessly everything seemed to flow—and that was largely due to Anita. The bride never once had to worry about a single detail because Anita was always one step ahead. She was available at every moment, anticipating needs before they even arose and handling every request with a warm and reassuring smile.
During the cocktail hour, Anita was a powerhouse. She managed to keep all the food stations fully stocked, cleared plates discreetly, and somehow still ensured the bride and groom were in the right place at the right time for their photos. Her ability to multitask with poise and positivity was truly impressive.
Anita’s energy and enthusiasm continued into the reception, where she encouraged guests to join the fun on the dance floor, helping to create a joyful, celebratory atmosphere. Any time the couple had a question or concern, Anita was right there to reassure them and keep things on track. Her presence made the entire evening feel seamless and stress-free.
Even at the end of the night, when most would be winding down, Anita was still going strong—guiding guests to the after-party, clearing tables, and running up to the bridal suite to retrieve anything the couple needed. She handled it all with a genuine smile and unwavering energy.
Anita is the kind of person every couple dreams of having by their side on their wedding day—calm, capable, compassionate, and completely committed. I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She is, quite...

Tom, our coordinator, was absolutely amazing — so responsive, attentive, and on top of every detail leading up to the day. He made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free, and we felt so well taken care of every step of the way.
On our wedding day, our maitre d’s Kyle and Rafael went above and beyond for us and our families. They were incredible — helping me (the bride) with absolutely everything, from bringing me drinks to tracking down my slippers when my feet needed a break from my heels! They made sure my parents, bridal party, and guests were comfortable and happy at all times. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made us feel like family.
Kelly, our bridal attendant, was also amazing — so attentive and thoughtful the entire day. She made sure my dress looked perfect at all times and helped me with anything I needed without me even having to ask.
So many of our guests and family members were amazed at how perfectly run the entire wedding was — everything flowed so seamlessly, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing except enjoying our day. The waitstaff were all so polite and gracious with our guests, and the service was truly top-notch.
