Little Cheese — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

Opened for only a week this cheese shop is already bringing its A game! Featuring over 40 cheeses we had no problem falling in love with a few to bring home. The Alp Blossom Hofkaserel Kraus was a standout in both complex flavor as well as presentation. Covered in edible flowers and only made in the spring this cheddar has a lot of wonderful things going on and will look like a champ on your next cheese board. The Beecher’s Flagship Reserve also came home with us and I look forward to enjoying soon. We also picked up a couple nice choices of Brie; the Hudson Valley Creamery Camembert and the Marin French Crème Brie Petite. The owner recommended the Firehook cracker so we picked up the sea salt and the last box of the rosemary which the owner said was one of her favorites. They offer a wide range of charcuterie & cheese boards from personal size all the way up to a large gathering. The shop is super cute and is immediately to the right of the huge old Post Office in a plaza full of cool shops and restaurants. Loved the area. I recently visited Little Cheese, and it was such a delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the variety of cheeses they had on offer. The selection was incredible, and I didn’t realize there were so many different types of cheese to explore. I had a fantastic experience at Little Cheese! I tried their Muffaletta sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, packed with flavor, and generously portioned.
