Mattress Firm Sayville — Hotel in Town of Islip

I was searching for a king size mattress and I had seen a new store that had opened up called mattress firm, I decided to check out the Sayville store because I had been in the area , but they also have many other locations, The very moment I arrived I was greeted by a friendly gentleman whose name was Shaun Seifert. He right away asked me what it was that I was looking for, so I explained that I was looking for a very firm mattress because I do have a lot of back pain ,and some injuries to my back. He was very friendly, and began to show me one of the nicest firmest mattresses in the show room, The second I laid on it, I knew that it was exactly what I was looking for. He was nice enough to show me other mattresses as well just so I could get an idea of what others felt like, but nothing compared to the first one I laid on ,because that was the one that felt best for my back issues . So I informed Shaun That I definitely liked the mattress I chose from the Start ,and that I was going to step out of the store so I can talk with my boyfriend further about the purchase of this mattress. We drove around town for a little bit did a little bit of shopping around ,and we both ended up back at mattress firm, nothing really compared to that initial mattress that I laid on, it was very comfortable and I felt that Shaun had a very good work ethic when it came to customer service, He was knowledgeable and understanding of my needs, and he offered us a really good deal for the mattress that we purchased, I am extremely happy with the customer service that he provided to us, so therefore I would highly recommend mattress firm in Sayville....

8 days ago I purchased a mattress and an adjustable base from this Mattress Firm location. My experience has been horrible. The delivery team did not offer to adjust the height of the base. Apparently they installed incorrectly and/or the base is defective as it stopped working after 2 days. I have spent countless hours on the phone with "customer service" who have been downright disrespectful and unhelpful. The management at the Sayville location has not offered any support to resolve the issue despite multiple outreaches for help. To date the only support we have been provided is a set of replacement parts to fix the base which were also faulty (we have to personally work on the repair of the defective product we paid thousands of dollars for). We have requested a replacement base which has been denied. At this point, there is no line of sight to resolution and no accountability to resolve...they have their money so they could care less about the customer. I would recommend everyone avoid purchasing any product from Mattress Firm and this location. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau to report these business practices and will be researching "lemon laws" for the mattress industry to determine what...
