Country Cottages — Hotel in Town of Lake George

Place was great. Spent a week there over July fourth. Rented a 3 bedroom/2 bath cabin. It was perfect for our family of five. Inside cabin had nice size living are where we could relax in comfort. 2 bathrooms was key. Kitchen area was perfect with a table to sit 6 people comfortably. Outside we had a nice size deck with a table and umbrella. The property had a big open area for kids to run around where you can see them. A ping pong table, pool table and Basketball court to pass the time. Pool was clean and plenty of comfortable lounge chairs. They also have a nice area for a fire pit which people used every night. Plenty of chairs to sit around the fire pit. Each cabin has a private grill and there is one big gas grill for anyone to use if charcoal is not your thing. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. . Place is about 4 miles from town but a short ride. Also off the main road which was nice and quiet. Laundry room has three machines but make sure you bring your quarters. Would definitely go back next time we are in the lake George area.Only negative was the WI FI was not strong. Great place to stay while in Lake George. First of all the pictures on this site aren't updated. The resort is updated and clean with so much to do. We rented a 3BR cottage. The outside looks like a log cabin. Inside is also all wood, clean and the main living area is spacious. Rooms themselves are a little tight and we had 2 bathrooms. The only critique I have is the master shower stall isn't meant for anyone over about 175-190 pounds. It is TIGHT. Otherwise it was nice to have the second bathroom. Plenty of hot water, AC worked great and each bedroom has a lock on the door and fan in the room. The shared areas include a large pavilion with a full outdoor kitchen, 3 new WEBER grills and plenty of seating which would be great if you are traveling with other families. There are tons of games, a game room, basketball and a large swingset/play area for the little ones. Two fire pits with plenty of Adirondack chairs. We can't wait to come back here for our next family vacation and would recommend to anyone looking for...
