I purchased a range and a recliner from Bicknell and had a great experience. You are offered assistance when you enter the store but then you can take your time making selections without being hounded or pressured. There are several high quality appliance brands available. We bought a Whirlpool gas range. The range was converted from natural to propane gas at the store. The delivery people disconnected the old one and connected the new one. They tested the stove to ensure the oven and burners to ensure they worked properly. They also took they old stove and recliner. I find the prices very competitive and plan to return if I ever need furniture and/or appliances. They were able to items were delivered the next day. There was a charge, because I live over an hour away. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant helpful and knowledgeable. We purchased a Flexsteel rocker/swivel recliner and are impressed with the looks and quality compared to the La-Z-Boy we replaced. This is one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. I got the best service ever from Bicknell’s Appliance in Potsdam, NY. Called for a refrigerator. Brian said he would try to deliver within the week. When I told him my refrigerator died, he said let me make some calls and get back to you. He called me back and delivered that same day. My entrance was too small. He and Dan had to remove doors and figure out how to get the old one out and the new one in. Over two hours later I had my new refrigerator. They were so patient. I felt terrible but they never showed any frustration. I have never seen such good service. And, by the way, the price not much different from big box stores that would have given up. Nice store with quality merchandise and fair prices. We have purchased several items recently from Bicknell's including a dish washer and a new mattress and box spring set.
