The Hot Springs Glamp Camp is definitely a must stay if you are traveling through and wanting to stay in Truth or Consequences or Elephant Butte, New Mexico.
The glamp camp features an air-conditioned and heated yurt, dome cabin, vintage trailers, and trailer pads for rent and four mineral hot spring soaking tubs.
Two tubs are private and enclosed, and have room for up to 3 people. There is also one communal mineral hot spring tub that holds up to eight people.
Furthermore, there is a mineral hot spring jacuzzi tub that is indoors. All of the mineral soak tubs are around 109°F, very soothing, and have 24 hour, complimentary access.
Hosts Sarah and Nicki are very attentive, communicative, but stay to their large trailer. They continuously clean the grounds and do the laundry, towels, flatware, cups, and sheets.
The grounds are gated, safe, secure, clean, and well-lit. You are provided with a code that lets you in the vehicle and pedestrian gate. There is an outdoor fire and BBQ pit. The wifi is password protected and has a good connection.
My yurt had a queen size bed. The dome has a king size bed. Both have private outdoor couch lounging areas. The adjacent bathroom and shower areas are immaculately clean.
There are a few, great food and beverage options available nearby, such as Truth or Consequences Brewery, El Faro Mexican, Kokopelli Cafe and Coffee, and Los Arcos Steak and Lobster.
It was an incredible stay that was value-minded. Two days here felt like a week stay. I will be back to this great, little...
Read moreThis is my first trip to TorC, and my entire reason for stopping here for a few days is this Hot Springs Glamp Camp. I am a huge fan of soaking in natural hot springs and as a medical professional I know the benefits. Finding the right space is important too. The hot springs aquifer runs under this town and so this camp has 3 spring fed tubs that are available to guests for soaking 24/7. Two are private and a larger one is communal. Guests take turns on a FCFS basis. The camp itself is not big. It’s a cozy square courtyard within a privacy wall and they have an eclectic mix of accommodations. There are 6 “stalls” for RVs to back in with full hookups available. It is possible to pitch a tent too. There is a really cool “dome” building and they have a Yurt! They also have three vintage trailers that are awesome and reasonably priced. There are two very nice, clean bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a spring-fed jacuzzi tub. While the neighborhood outside the wall is old and rundown, this camp is a wonderful oasis. Fully gated and secure with no worries here. Out the gate and 5 mins of walking is a great local Taproom and brewery which gets active in the afternoon and evenings. Topping off all this goodness is the camp host, Debra. She is amazing. So friendly and welcoming and focused on making certain all guests are happy and comfortable. If you’re coming to TorC, and you love a very relaxing, laidback vibe, this is where you...
Read moreI loved my stay at the yurt in the glamp camp! The host was super friendly when I arrived and showed me around. The yurt was so cute and comfortable, and had a heated mattress pad for the colder nights! It was so peaceful. I loved soaking in the hot springs fed private tubs, incredibly peaceful and relaxing! They were also clean and you just use disinfecting spray after each use, and they get scrubbed daily. And you can soak anytime of day/night you want! First come first serve, but I had no trouble getting a couple soaks in. The bathrooms are very clean and there is also a shower available. There are several other different sites (vintage campers, dome house, and camping spots) on the property. And a social area with couches and they have a fire at night and people can hang out. There is also a not private hot tub that everyone can use! I’m honestly more of an introvert so I kinda kept to myself; but if you like meeting others it could also be a fun place to socialize! It is also gated and I felt very safe as a female solo traveler. I only stayed one night, but wish I stayed more! I highly recommend and hope to...
