All I can say is WOW! Passion Pie is the best Breakfast/Brunch Cafe in all of New Mexico by far! The food is unique, delicious, filling, and aesthetically pleasing! The service and staff is phenomenal. They are so warm, welcoming, and friendly. The cafe is cute and cozy! The style is so colorful! All of the items on their menu are fresh, full of flavor and all of it is made in-house. It was so delicious my family and I went in both mornings. They also make gourmet coffees and teas if that is what you’re in to. Okay now on to the delectable and delicious list of foods we tried… First off, you can’t leave town without trying their Sonoran Sausage Roll. It’s a Jalapeno Sausage wrapped in pastry dough with cream cheese (yum)! Another must try is their “Eva” Crepe. It’s filled with the BEST CHORIZO! The chorizo isn’t only full of flavor but also isn’t greasy, or leaving you with heart burn, which is a win in my book. They have a great Quiche (variety of flavors). They have amazing fluffy and light waffles that you can customize to your liking (the Elvis Waffle is my favorite). My boyfriend had the Breakfast Waffle with Green Chile (their chile is great) and Eggs on top! They have a variety of Sweet and Savory Crepes, Waffles, and Croissants. My parents tried the Kevin Bacon Crepe and loved it. This morning I had the Yogurt, Fruit and Granola bowl. They make their own Granola and wow…just wow! It’s so tasty and crunchy, with chewy cranberries! They have a cabinet filled with fresh baked pastries, and it’s something new everyday! We tried their Chocolate Croissant and I can easily say it’s the best one I have ever had. Anyways, you can’t go wrong no matter what you order, so be adventurous and try it all! I promise it’s all yummy and fresh. They are pretty quick too even with staying so busy. Must...

I fell in love with the cafe as soon as we set foot in the door! 😍 The atmosphere was very laid back, cozy, their decor was very cute and homey, the tables were gorgeous...I mean, I can go on for days about how cool this place looked! No flies, so I was able to enjoy my waffles and mango lassi. The women were very friendly and I had no trouble finding my drink on the side bar because the lady who rung us up told me where it was. 😃 I did read a review where the individual complained about the service not being great because the women didn't wait on them or deliver the food to their table when it was ready. Obviously every place is going to be different and having to fetch your own order when it's ready isn't uncommon. Especially when it comes to cleaning up after yourself once you've finished your meal or drink. I've been to plenty of fast food joints and small restaurants/cafes where they do this all the time. It's really not a big deal.
I ordered the waffles with fresh fruit and whipped cream + a mango lassi which was super delicious! Ugh! The waffles were cooked to perfection and the fruit was just...YUM-O! 😛💕 I want to try their breakfast croissants or quiche next! 😋✨ As for baked goods I tried the coconut macaroon and their "Who you callin' a Hoho". Both were delicious and not too sweet which I loved! I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already and I'll update my review the more I visit and try whatever is available on their menu!

Read moreI had a most unfortunate experience today at passion pie Café. When I was prompted by the electronic kiosk to pay my bill, I was informed by the barista that credit cards are not accepted for bills less than five dollars. I gladly pulled out a $100 bill and handed it to them. At this point, the owner came out of the kitchen to reprimand me for trying to pay with a credit card and then not having exact change. She told me that her credit card fees are more than the $4.50 coffee I was purchasing, which is just a ridiculous lie. I should've walked out right then knowing that a business owner, unable to control their temper for such a silly reason would obviously be too incompetent to make a decent cup of coffee, but I was a little bit shocked at this point and did not want to make a fuss. The coffee came out and I left thanking the barista and doublechecking that it was the owner that came out to chastise me. I would've never left this review, but upon taking a sip of the coffee, it was possibly the worst Americano I have ever had at a coffee shop. Completely over roasted beans, watery, and just terrible. I dumped it out and found a coffee shop two blocks away. Avoid this place at all costs, I know I will...
