Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tucson AZ — Hotel in Tucson

Just for a quick background of me so you know exactly where I am coming from and my prospective of this monstrosity. @ 21yo homeless male no education, terrible heroin problem and homeless with little to no personal hygiene...NOW @ 25yo clean cut, male nurse working over 40 hours a week and owner of soap and a toothbrush with no needle in my arm :)!! SO... about the Days inn on craycroft and 29th ish in Tucson AZ. Holy wow..! $99 very unfortunately spent landed me this atrocious “room” that reminds me skid row if it landed on a mental health lockdown unit hospital. The bald fat man at the desk with half a tooth and understandable bags under his eyes after seeing this place , who might I add calls himself Marry gave me one key when there are more of us than that in our room. He/she..it, did not explain the fact that we have to walk through that main lobby to the backyard if the facility to get to any of the rooms so I hopped back in my car and was forced to go through a do not enter road to get to the other side that was just as closed off as the place we had just came from. Finally found our room unfortunately to find a smoke detector halfway taped to the ceiling, a candle drawn on the bathtub wall with crayons from an artistic crackhead. The bed only had a flat sheet that was just tucked in to look like a fitted sheet. Two mismatch lamps as lights that weren’t even plugged in and only one bulb. A sink filled with salt and paper grounds and someone else’s blood. A stench to the bath room that reminds me of the inside of my homeless friends dreadlock and the cheese that grew between his head and the back of his ear. A mini fridge that has been on for almost 25 hours and is probably hotter than when I turned it on in the first place.the ONE bath towel that was really just a hand towel from the workout room that they pretended to have. The recliner that the local dumpster donated is splattered with what looks like male fluids and the front desk fat mans bbq wing sauce off his pudgy fingers he recently wiped there. The people upstairs to my surprise have yet to fall through he ceiling due to how loud they are literally jumping and stomping. I’m going to just stop now because I would be here for years. But the breakfast was iterate frozen milk and a piece of white wonder bread with frozen butter and cold coffee. I honestly would not ever in my life charge charge someone to put them through something so nasty. NEVER EVER EVER PLEASE NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS RAT HOLE!!! Marry at the desk was...

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL. WE ENDED UP LEAVING WITHOUT EVEN STAYING. WORKED FOR A MONTH TRYING TO GET A REFUND AND WAS IGNORED AND LIED TO BY THE GENERAL MANAGER, MR. COLE. When we arrived my husband asked for the veterans discount which they gave to us. The grounds around the hotel were dirty and littered with trash and cigarette butts everywhere. We weren't thrilled with the outside but proceeded to our room. The bed skirt was half way off the bed and the light fixture was off the wall and sitting on the counter. The room smelled dirty and we went down and asked for another room. On the way up to the room as we passed the room right next to us, we smelled marijuana coming from that room. As we entered our room it smelled very bad and did not look clean at all. I've never seen pillow cases that were so wrinkled. We then proceeded back down to the lobby and spoke to the young man that was there and told him we could not stay because of the marijuana smell and the smell in the room. He said we would have to talk to the owner about a refund. I then called 2 days later and talked to the general manager who said he would look into it and get back with me. Several days went by and I never heard anything. I then called him back and explained the whole thing over again and he said that he would look into getting us a refund. I found out by corporate after he told me that, that he's the one that makes that decision so he lied to me. Several more days went by and never got a call back. I then called the customer service number and they gave me a case number. I was hoping to get a call back but was instead sent an email asking for all the details again. I called corporate and they then called the motel and left again another message for the general manager and I have never gotten a call back from him again. I did get another email offering me 20 prevent off my next stay. They must think I'm really stupid. I wouldn't stay at this nasty place the first time, why would I ever go back? I mentioned the veterans discount above that we received... The next day (the 20th) both charges were pending on our account (the veterans and regular rate). Since then the veterans charge was taken off and just the regular rate was charged. It doesn't make sense why they would charge me full price when they had already given me the veterans discount. Long story short... I was charged full price for a room we didn't...

This is the most disgusting Hotel I've ever stayed in except for one in Indonesia which cost $7.50 a night. Front desk staff was nice but the room was horrible. We were greeted by a lock on the door that was broken which gave us a great sense security. I mean like broken in half like someone broke into the room .When we took a shower which was frightening because of blue stains ,we discovered we had no towels.Some moron placed only 2 bath mats in the hanger as opposed two towels. I thought about calling the Health Department based upon the filth but it was 12 p.m. when we discovered what we had gotten and after saying a prayer we decided to go to bed. The pillows were the most bizarre pillows that anyone has ever seen in their entire life they had Square things sticking out of it it's like someone took a chunks of foam cut them up and put them in a pillowcase. I called the front desk to register my concerns and say this is the most disgusting hotel ever been in.No offer of another or help only so sorry under new ownership. The filth and the bizarre stains all over the room were a concern and by the way the two bath mats which we had to dry off work with were stained as in someone had been murdered which again we didn't see until we were rinsed off. No one could pay me enough money to stay in this disgusting dive. I cannot believe that the Health Department allows him to operate frankly. So the bottom line is anybody who would stay at this hotel is a moron and is wasting their money even though their rates are cheap .It is disgusting, filthy and they have no concern for what their customers need or safety. I am certain that the folks who now this place will not get back to me or respond to this but it is a huge mistake for anyone to stay in this place. If I wake up with some disease they're going to pay for the cost. I am torn between sleeping in my car and in the room. But I am 64 I'm too old to be curled up in a car so I'm going to take my chances with bugs and diseases in the room. Oh by the way did I tell you about the duct tape around the air conditioner really attractive and very professional. God bless anyone who is stupid enough to stay...
