Motel 6 Tucson, AZ - East Williams Center — Hotel in Tucson

I really love this motel 6. The staff are absolutely incredible! Honestly Unforgettable good customer service. The rooms are big and comfortable. The new beds they are putting in have the best mattress! Definitely the best mattress I have slept on in over a year! A big closest, a good shower, a table to eat at. The fact that they have a fridge and microwave makes it soo much better! Decent decor and thr fresh coat of paint looks incredible. They had construction going on. so I did see a couple bugs. It would be impossible to not see any bugs during construction. Yet impressively the building is built so good you rarely could hear any of it. Even more impressive is the fact that during construction they still had less bugs then any of the other hotels in that area! Everyone knows that area isn’t the best but the front desk staff are soo good. you still feel safe sleeping in your room. They actually watch and take care of the property. Plus they are smart, quick, good at problem solving, care that people have a good stay, good people. Basically They are down to earth.Especially the manger. I will start by saying that this hotel was decent enough if you are just passing through or only staying a few days and traveling alone. The rooms have been upgraded a little and it certainly makes a difference. They're clean enough. Fridge, microwave and wifi work. Furniture is new. On my first night it seemed pretty good. But then we quickly realized the bathroom just ruined the whole experience. The door did not shut all the way. The toilet barely flushed and they had to come snake it out. They gave us 1 towel that didn't even fit around my waist and we could not have more without handing in the dirty towels. We also only got 1 roll of toilet paper so we went to walmart and got towels and toilet paper. If you're on the 1st floor you will hear every sound the 2nd floor guests make.

But what really set me off and why they get 2 stars instead of 3 is because on Monday morning when some friends stopped by to meet for lunch and take the other hotel guest home (he lives in AZ, I do not) I got interrogated about how many people I had in the room. I get that seeing some dready chic get dropped off from festival grounds with camping gear may be a little disconcerting but maybe give it a little time (more than 20 minutes) before you...

So we needed a place to stay overnight until we headed back to the valley in the morning. However, we left after 20 mins of the bad experience. Unsafe environment: As soon as we drove up a group of men in hoodies walked behind me and stood next to my vehicle as if they were trying to steal it.

When they realized i was looking at them. They stood in the parking lot watching for an opportunity.

The room: as soon as we got into the bathroom the door was stuck. My friend shook it 3 times and then we got a call from the front desk accusing us for making loud noise.

The restroom was beyond unacceptable: dirty tub, hole in wall, and the light wouldn't work and the ceiling was leaking.

The creepy community there is the biggest scare. Theres ppl hanging around watching as if they are ready to commit a crime. They definitely need to hire a security guard there to keep the unwanted creepers away.

We left. The straw that broke the camels back was the people. The people hanging outside walking around ready to prowl on innocent guests trying to sleep for the night.

I feel for the owner. He needs to hire security. Cause he will lose business due to the rift-raft that walks...
