Disliked · My reservation was for double room and check in at 2:00pm. When we got there she stated there was only a king available. When I tried to cancel she decided to have a room cleaned for us and we would have to wait. We went to eat and came back and the room was in disgusting condition. I didn't want to have to argue, or find another room so I just took pictures and took a nap. When we woke up we tried to get ready to go to the event we were in town for and couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower. I sat down on the bed and the corner fell into the frame. I got ready to go and called the front desk and asked for the bed to be fixed. The woman told me I should have reported the broken bed when I checked in and started yelling at me. I tried to explain that it had just broken and she started accusing me of having traffic in and out of my room, and then hung up. We never left the room after we checked in late. She sent someone to fix the bed before we left and they showed us how to turn on the shower. I called in a complaint to customer service. My companion talked me into just staying because we were tired and needing to get to the event. In the morning, I called the front desk and asked for the room to be checked because at this point I had no trust in this establishment and they had my credit card number. It was the same woman and she refused to send housekeeeping even though it was two hours before my check out time. I asked for her name and she said "front desk" and I asked her if she was refusing to give me her name and she said "Super 8" and then yelled at me that I could come don to the front desk and talk to her about it. I refused as I did not want the conflict. I called in another complaint to customer service and videotaped the condition of the room before I left. I will probably never stay at a Super 8 again!! The condition of the room was horrible, burned blankets with stains, dingy filthy towels, broken door knob to the adjoining room, broken front door....The worst motel...
Read moreWe stay here very often , we are used to nicer hotels however. They accommodate you as much as they can. We love coming here and have even met other families and couples who travel who stay here as well. It's our go to in Tucson for many reasons. We love the staff, our favorite is the hotel manager and one of the lady staff with the long blonde curly hair. Second they make you feel welcomed and are super friendly. We love that they keep the outside on the outside and are somewhat strict about who comes on the property. My children are known by name and are very safe to play outside at the property. We have never had a dirty room or sticky floors, we've never seen roaches , rats or any sort of other creepy crawlers. We enjoy the rooms with Roku cause the cable TV kinda sucks, we enjoy the rooms with over head lights and the beds are comfortable. We love the furniture gives it a more modern feel. There is staff on the property 24/7 and baby the hot water is hitting every time, I've never showered and the water not burn me. I love it here. The access to QT, Circle K, McDonald's, Walmart , Domino's and dollar tree make it a convenient location. There is access to Bus routes 34 , 7 and 17. The bus stops and corners at intersections may be infested with homeless but please don't let that discourage you from experiencing this gem in Tucson. It's worth the money , the prices never fluctuate or get insanely high. We absolutely love it here and I believe we've stayed maybe 5 or 6 times for a duration of 3 to 4 days at a time !! The pool is shut down but we were staying in the colder months so we never really cared about it being open or closed. Please be kind and considerate when approaching staff. Times are hard and everything is up in price and they are doing their best to give you the best motel 6 experience that they can. I have faith that the hotel manager will turn it into exactly what it needs to be. And he will always have...
Read moreFirst of all this place is in a rough neighborhood...so there where shady people walking around. We paid cash they had the nerve to take a deposit. Their rooms were $80 which I was quoted $60 over the phone. Got there, it was supposedly a lodging fee and outrageous taxes. I said its ridiculous to have $20 in taxes and fees. So we gets into the room I was floored to why it was $80, the power outlets has no covers, the decor is passed outdated and painted over walls to cover dirt. The only decent thing in the room was the A/C unit and the TV. The microwave and fridge was out dated and the bathroom was dusty looking. I recleaned the restroom and sprayed the bed down with Lysol. There where two long strains of hair under the cover. The people upstairs walked all night and was very noisey.
I go over to the office for breakfast the next morning the waffle mix was water down the waffle didn't even fluff up. They had cereal and toast. The owner tells me I have to eat in the lobby I can't take the waffle back to the room. He said he doesn't like eating in the rooms. I asked the owner why do they take a deposit; he told me just in case something comes up missing or the towels are too dirty. I am like this dump is not nice enought to steal anything. And the towels where dirty when i got here. Thats why I have my own towels.
I will NEVER NEVER NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!! The lady that work here at night is sweet and very friendly this is the only reason I gave them 2 stars. NEVER EVER NEVER EVER STAY...
