My family used to come here all the time. It was one of my dad's favorites. Haven't been here in a while and got my food to go. The lady at the counter watched me talk to my daughter and figure out what she wanted we even told her my daughter would have the rice with her meal. We waited got the bag went home and I will admit it's partly my fault because the price didn't seem like enough and I should have checked the receipt and the bag while I was still there. Had to drive all the way back to the restaurant because the lady only put my meal on the bill so only my food was in the bag and not my daughters. I had also told her I wanted a large thing of guacamole and chips and instead she had put like a side of guacamole in the bag. By the time we waited for my daughter's food to be ready, got the I guess it would be medium guacamole and got back home the sopapillas were no longer crunchy and were just kind of chewy. That was kind of disappointing because we were going to eat them before the meal while they were still good but my daughter said she couldn't even bite it 😕. On the bright side as you can tell by the picture the mini chimneys didn't even make it all the way home to get the picture 😂. As always my daughter loved them. I also had to make her put the taco down so I can take a picture before she ate it all. Other than the sopapillas which you know have to be eaten fresh the rest of the food was delicious.

We accidentally stopped in this place in an attempt to go somewhere else, but we were hungry and decided to roll with it... and are glad we did! If you're all about ambiance, this place probably isn't for you. It has the run-down Mexican place vibe, and there was a bit of wet carpet smell upon initially entering, but that is the only real drawback to this place. We've been back THREE more times in less than a week. The salsa is one of the better ones at Mexican joints, not the ketchup soup present at many, but actually BURSTING with flavor. The burrito was pretty plain, and if you wanted extra cheese, guac, etc... it was pretty pricey to add. On another occasion, I had the fajitas, which had more with them (onions, tomatoes, rice, beans), but only received one tortilla. Still, overall no complaints. Now the best part: the margaritas. They're delicious and cheap! $4.50 for a 12oz or $16 for a pitcher on the rocks. In fact, two of our visits were simply for drinks, and they'll keep us coming back.

I asked for brisket enchilada with instead of tortilla I wanted sopapillas and we'll it all went down hill from there , they gave me like 6 small bowls of stuff and said to make it myself, so I did being from out of town and hungry I said screw it and arranged my items I also ordered regular enchilada plate that came with simple canned sauce poured on top similar to what you find at the dollar store. To top it all off I was presented with a recipe with a bill for over 40.00 smh some people are amazing and sone just think they are. You would be better off eating at the dunkin doughnuts next door.

Every booth had old worn out and cracked cushions. The tiles are falling off the walls, not in a designed to look rustic way. That was our first sign. We went for lunch and it took extremely long for our food to arrive. The salsa was awful. They have 2 types absolute fire and plain canned tomatoes masquerading as mild. Zero flavor in either salsa. Not even any cilantro, no herbs of any kind just plain canned tomatoes. I had the sampler platter for $12.99 it came with a shredded beef taco and 2 mini chicken chimichangas and "green chili with cheese." It also had the usual rice and refied beans. The green chilis were not a side dish. They were a condiment! Canned sliced green chilis with something attempting to pass for Mexican cheese. Everything came from a can! Nothing fresh about their food. The shredded beef taco was tough and dry while the fried shell was soggy and fell apart in my hands. The chimis were not made on site, obviously factory made and bone dry. No sauce or cheese, no guacamole or sour cream. Just little balls of cold fried dough with a teaspoon of chicken inside. Again, no flavor, just bland. There was one good thing, my drink was an Arnold Palmer and it was hand poured. You could see the lemonade separated from the iced tea. It was delicious. But serously, save your money! I absolutely do not recommend this place. This wasn't our first time eating there. We had the same experience last summer. Nothing improved since then. With all the great choices in town, I am surprised that they are still open. The waitstaff was polite. I will say that...

The service was terrible. We sat for 10 mins before we got chips. Then another 10 before the waitress came to ask us what we wanted to drink. By that point we were ready to order our food. Our food came fairly quickly. We let the waitress know we needed utensils when she brought the food. But ended having to find them myself. We wanted to add sour cream and guacamole. But the waitress never came back to see how our food was or if we needed anything else. She never refilled our drinks or chips. I took a few bites of my food because I was waiting to add the sour cream and guacamole to my meal. She came back 20 mins later with the check. I told her I was unhappy with my food. She didn't seem to care. She just looked at my plate as she cleared it from the table. I asked her to remove my meal from the check and she got upset and said she would have to talk to a manager. She finally came back with an attitude and said the manager adjusted the bill. But they don't normally do that and next time if there was a problem with the food to let her know. I told her, I would have let you know but she never came back. Her excuse was, Well I was very busy. It was 3PM the were only a couple of customers in the restaurant. It wasn't busy. It was...
