TACO GIRO - Craycroft — Restaurant in Tucson

I stopped by Tacos Giro to try their highly-rated food and ordered the carne asada burrito by itself. Right from the start, the service was fantastic. Roberto, my server, was great, and the host was incredibly respectful and welcoming, which made for a really positive first impression. After getting my order, I realized I had forgotten to ask for extra lemons and salsa. When I went back through the drive-thru, there was a small mix-up as they had initially forgotten my request. However, Aileen quickly stepped in and was super helpful. She got me what I needed, offering Tapatío as a salsa option. The staff's effort to make things right was definitely appreciated. Now for the burrito itself. Honestly, it was just okay—nothing special. The biggest letdown was the carne asada. It felt like it was just there for the protein, with very little flavor or seasoning that I could taste. It got lost in the burrito. On the bright side, the rice and beans were really good! In fact, the beans were the best part of the whole meal; they were delicious. Given all the glowing reviews, I was a bit disappointed. Maybe the carne asada burrito isn't their star dish. Based on this visit, I can't recommend the burrito, but I'm willing to come back and try their tacos or another specialty in the future, especially since the service...

This place has the best for breakfast specials in town. However their service is horrible. You can expect great food but a weight that seems to take two the three times longer than it should. It was nice to see the waitresses having a great time at their job I think it's important to enjoy where you work but not at the sacrifice of service and time your customers get their food. I sat in the drive-through for 5 minutes with no line at the speaker nobody answered so I had to park the car get out go inside after about 5 minutes somebody actually acknowledged me and took my order and then it took them 30 minutes to bring me my food to go. All they did was laugh when they handed me my food!! There was no apologies for such a long wait. I was supposed to get this order in the Drive-Thru and was I supposed to wait 30 minutes and then drive through for my food I would recommend this place to anybody as far as the food as far as the service and how long it takes them to do things I would just warn them to expect great food horrible service and...

My friend and I were craving a burrito, and were about to go to a quick fast food establishment. We ended up here instead.

They serve you chips, salsa, and bean dip before your meal ( B9th were delicious)

We shared a shrimp cocktail, (which was yummy!), I got a combination plate (taco, enchilada, and Chile relleno, rice, and beans), he got his burrito, which was huge, compared to where we were going initially (and less expensive). The food is always great here. The cost is about what you would pay for a meal at a fast food restaurant (but the food is so much better). They also have seafood and steak, molcajetes, etc that are a little pricey, but not much.

The service was awesome, and they work hard to keep the place clean. If you're in a bit of a rush, they also have a drive thru.

Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs. We had a lot of food to bring home. Looking forward to my leftovers 😋
