STAY AWAY!! WORST SERVICE EVER!! STAFF COULDN’T CARE LESS ABOUT YOU!! Staff was the rudest one I have ever encountered in my whole life! At check in, the person in the front desk (Myriam) looked really tired, but had no problem checked me in the 2nd floor. First thing I noticed was the elevator, really loud looks like it would brake at any time. After been in the room for 5 min we realized: the AC was really loud doing weird noises, a lamp fixture was broken, the AC thermostat was poorly attached to the wall (crooked and ugly fixed), fridge was not attached to anything and almost fell from the floor cabinet while trying to open it and coffee maker was all scratched! I went to the front desk to ask for a different room, and same person told me she couldn’t do it, she was clocking out and that now “it was someone else problem”! But there was no one else there! I was tired after a long road trip and did not wanted to wait, so decided just to stay with the room. (Bad idea) Next night after coming from all day outside, we come to find out there is a very loud party right below us in the first floor!! When I went to the front desk to complain, they told me nobody was checked in in the second floor!! I obviously argued that! They were not happy and the manager came (drunk!!! and dressed for the party) to make things worse! She threatened us to checked us out right there and leave us with no hotel for the night and calling the police!! I actually encouraged her to call the police, but what do you know, she was only bluffing. She changed us to another room and after I asked how was I going to be compensated for the inconvenience, she said they will waved the pet and parking fee. Well, they did not do that, and charged me the full fee anyway! They had offered me breakfast for free, but I obviously did not take it! (I’m not up for eating someone’s spit!). (While waiting in the lobby for the room change, I figured the party was their on hotel’s staff Christmas party!!!) Only helpful person was the security guy, who actually apologized to us and helped us with changing rooms. JUST STAY AWAY!!

BIG & TALL people BEWARE. Rooms are falsely advertised. King room, while spacious, the bed is actually the size of an RV or Olympic Queen. The length is about 75 inches (I measured) and definitely not wide like a traditional king. Length is shorter than a traditional Queen. Luckily my GF and I are small people and were able to fit in the bed with minimal kicks and knee jerk slaps to the face. I included a photo where you can see the space from the mattress to the built in night stand made for a King. My family had a double room and the beds were not QUEENS but FULL beds. Room and hotel were reasonably clean, no complaints there. Maybe it’s just the local culture but lots of smoking around the main entrance. Haven’t smelled that much smoke in a short amount of time in yrs. Multiple offenders from guest and staff. Upper floors give a nice view. Cell service is TERRIBLE on lower floors but no issues higher in the building. Desk Staff is borderline rude if you’re sensitive to good/bad hospitality. You can tell they’re doing just enough to keep their jobs and nothing more. Not very helpful or welcoming IMO. Gives off vibe that asking for too much will tilt them to f— you over. Housekeeping - EXCELLENT- and pleasant to talk to while waiting for the elevators. PARKING—- the fee is a joke. Plenty of parking outside the hotel and it’s secluded enough to be safe. I stayed 4 days no issues. Parking should be free. The other Hilton gardens in the DMV area include it, and for this location there’s no reason not to. Elevators suck. One was broken but eventually fixed during my stay. Both take FOREVER to get to your floor On a budget, want something clean…sure, why not. Want the vacation feel and not like you’re staying at a Days inn, pay the extra money to stay somewhere with either some visual interest, pool or a restaurant to walk to.

The hotel itself was nice. Lets talk about the staff, and Hilton corporate. Upon arrival, mind you I live 2 hrs away i decided to visit for a friends birthday so i booked a room here at this location. Lets start with the room and the heating system. Every time I Adjusted the thermostat heat to 80 it constantly blew out cool air and i had it sat to heat so my daughter & I decided to use blankets from my car as well due to the room constantly being cool, i called down to the front desk to get assistance, they decided to send up a maintenance employee who himself couldn't fix the problem. I was never ask to switch rooms to accommodate My child and myself manager or staff.

Problem 2, housekeeping never came to clean/empty trash NOTHING from December 20-22,2019 during our stay.

Problem 3, i had to rush my daughter back home at 4 am early Sunday morning to the ER, we packed up & went down to the lobby to check out we stood down there for almost a hour looking for someone to check us out. I had to go back up to the room to call down to the front desk to see if someone maybe from the back or something would answer, STILL there was NO ANSWER. My daughter then starts yelling HELLLLLLOOOOO HELLLLLOOOO, then the employee that was on duty comes from the back to my knowledge he was sleeping you could tell from his posture. I get home check my acct and the hotel had the nerve to OVERDRAW MY ACCT. I CALLED the hotel to speak with the manager they told me my card was charged for pantry items that i didn't purchase they told me i booked for a extra day, i was charged because i didn't show up mind you i was there December 20-22, they told me that myself and my 17 year old had multiple people in my room, and that i had another reservation. The false accusations was extremely DISRESPECTFUL. I ALSO SPOKE WITH A VERY DISRESPECTFUL MANAGER, I FILED A REPORT ON HER SHE GOES BY THE NAME OF ONYA. AS A MANAGER SHE SHOULD'VE HANDLED THINGS DIFFERENTLY. She had the nerve to tell me she was a grown woman, hung up on me twice, i made sure i recorded every conversation, she asked me questions and each time she spoke over me, that was extremely rude, DISGUSTING & disrespectful. A s employee she give hilton a disgusting by representing their brand. she also told me and she didn't have time for it, so i decided to report this disgusting manager to cooperate. Im a very humble respectful person until i feel that I'm being disrespected and talked down upon and lied on. All of this could've been handled differently but she wanted to accuse me of things that never happened. Once i told her to run the cameras back and watch my every move, she had the nerve to say she didn't have access to the footage. THE CONSTANT LIES. from check in to check out i had AWFUL EXPERIENCE until Now. I recommend anyone that stays here do your research take pics if need and...

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for 2 nights from May 20th-May 22nd. I will say this was not the most pleasant experience. I booked my room over the phone with a representative of the hotel. When booking the room I did ask for the complementary breakfast to be included and the price of that for the weekend was $414 and the amount without the complementary breakfast was around $397. So since there wasn’t much of a price difference I wanted to opt in for the complementary breakfast. Once I arrived I checked, a female desk clerk asked did I want access to the parking garage. I stated yes, Unbeknownst to me there was an extra fee of about $50 for parking in the parking garage for the weekend. The female desk clerk did not disclose that amount I noticed a difference in price when my card was charged. When I get in my room I noticed that the room was extremely warm but the thermostat is on the lowest temperature of 65°F on cool. Around 1 AM I called the front desk to report that the thermostat is malfunctioning because it was extremely hot and muggy in my room at this point, it was around 90° that day. I spoke to the a male desk clerk he nonchalantly told me to “just open the window because the thermostat is set is on auto and it cuts off around every 10 minutes.” I still explained to him that the thermostat was on the lowest setting and it was still extremely warm in the room, He said he could call me back and hung up the phone. I didn’t hear anything else from him throughout the night. So I called the front desk in the morning to report that the thermostat was still not working and the female desk clerk that I spoke to was very understanding and quickly got me into another room with a working AC. Also the next morning of May 21st I went downstairs to go to the complementary breakfast but once downstairs I was told it was not included even though when I spoke to the representative over the phone the night before stated that the $414 that I paid did include complimentary breakfast. So overall I did not enjoy my experience with this hotel and I totally understand why this was the only hotel in that area that was not fully booked for...
