I'm just driving through. Check-in was fast, and the room was clean enough. They said they had free breakfast, but the door was locked. I didn't ring the bell; maybe I'm spoiled on "no contact" breakfasts in other hotels. I just can't imagine this place is so dangerous that the doors have to be locked during business hours. **EDIT** I came back after writing the review and rang the bell because COFFEEEEE* It is 6:55... apparently, breakfast starts at 7. OK, cool. Nothing was really ready. I'm sitting here waiting for 1/3 of a pot of coffee to brew. There is a waffle maker that is out but not on, no batter or syrup. A toaster, butter & jelly, and cream cheese, but no bread or bagels. I really believe if you are going to be in the hospitality industry, you should bring your A game, even if you are a 1 or 2 star hotel.... **UPDATE*** It is 8:24, and I went back for more coffee, and she had taken away the milk, which I placed back into the butter fridge. I dont care if only 1 person is taking advantage of the "breakfast".... the hospitality rule is that you leave everything out until breakfast ends.

When we arrived in our room. Right away it was dirty. In hindsight...We should have turned right back around. Dirt and grease on walls. All appliances and dispensers had not been wiped down and had tape to hold them together. Coating of dirt on everything. Floors were gross. Shower was disgustingly dirty. Toilet did not flush properly, by middle of night it did not flush at all. Beds were so uncomfortle. Hard as bricks, like a piece of partical board was laid down. I took a washcloth and cleaned the nightstand, which was black after I was done. There was a small blood stain on one of my pillows. Sink was old and had cracks and dirty. Needless to say, we slept on top of comforters. Slept in our clothes. Kept shoes on when walking in room. Did not get a shower either and left the toilet clogged...oh well. Oh yes and only half of the lights worked in room We didnt even try their breakfast. We wanted out of there so bad. Should be a negative star.....

The location was convenient, but that’s really one of the only positives. I do like that it has an older feel. You get a coffee maker, a cable TV, all of the classic things. However, our bathroom wasn’t cleaned before our stay. Our shower had different kinds of hair stuck to the walls and the curtain, dried soap stains. Plus, the coffee maker itself had something that looked like mold in the filter area. The staff that we interacted with was very friendly though, and since we only stayed a night, this was smaller things that we just ignored. Just be aware before booking, because you get what you pay for.

In town with family for a funeral. Reserved a room. Clerk was ADAMANT numerous times that it BETTER BE ONLY TWO. I told him there were 2 more going to eat with us in the room but they were staying elsewhere for the night. He then said he was going to be watching & if he saw any more than two people he would charge me for another room. Watching us? I am a 60 year old grandmother with my daughter & 3 grandchildren. All females, and you are going to be WATCHING US!! Nope! Not staying here. The rudest creepiest & apparently VERY GREEDY person chased us away to Hospitality House down the road where they earned their name. I've never EVER had a person say anything close to this. I assure you I don't look like someone about to have a rager in the room. Small town, few choices. This is a roadside MOTEL. So someone needs to chill out on the scary, rude & unnecessary demands at check in. Especially when I TOLD YOU numerous times IT WAS 2 PEOPLE! I'm paying for this room, stop acting like you're doing us a favor letting us stay. I would sleep in my car before I'd ever stay in this...

The room was okay. The employees are okay. But they have a lot of rules like breakfast only in the lobby and can't take anything back to the room and no visitors. The room is kinda small. They take some measures to sanitize the rooms. The soap and lotion dispensers are nice and the room coffee is pretty good. The worst part is that I had a service dog, but since they don't have grass on the property, I had to drive somewhere else to walk my dog so that was inconvenient. And the lobby isn't always open so if we need something we have to ring the bell to ask for it. It is better to have a 24 hour lobby with coffee and tea. There is no pool or fitness center. The shower is hot and good pressure. Some of the linen was dirty or at least looked dirty so they need new linen and to replace visibly dirty sheets and towels. There are 2 HBO channels and a few other channels and free wifi. The housekeeper didn't clean our room one of the days but when asked, the housekeeper came to empty the trash. They should get bigger trash cans...
