Patio Grill — Restaurant in Union City

I’ve been to Patio Grill several times and enjoyed their food. The last two instances have been bad. I got the Enchilada Suizas and the Pechuga Frita. The Enchiladas were not good at all. Los Portales in Union City have much better ones. In the second instance, I ordered a Pechuga Frita and the server brought me a Pechuga Especial and told me I didn’t order the Pechuga Frita, but ordered the Pechuga Especial. FYI, don’t ever order the Pechuga Eapecial there because it tastes awful. I didn’t tip because of the servers screw up. If you want good Mexican food in Union City, go to Los Portales. It’s a beautiful place, but the service (none of whom were in the photos) seemed inexperienced. When I asked for pico de gallo, I was told they didn’t have it—only to later see it on someone else’s plate. Unfortunately, the salsa tasted more like canned tomato soup, lacking any real flavor, spices, onions, or jalapeños. I ordered the Nacho Grande, but all the chips were soft and soggy, forcing me to eat it with a fork instead of enjoying it the way nachos should be. I went to get four vegetables burritos today (customized). The little young Mexican girl work at front has an attitude and cannot listen enough to take an order. She messed the order up twice.

Then they barely give you enough food for what you pay for.

I say no cheese and they bring it back out with burnt cheese around the edges of the burritos.

Overall, I’m never returning to Patio Grill. This the second chance I gave Patio Grill to get this right. The front desk girl is rude, they rush and get orders out when it’s not necessary. That is how you...
