We arrived at 12:00am after our flight was delayed. We get into our room, start to unpack, and the ceiling in the master bedroom is leaking water to the extent that the floor was flooded and plaster had fallen. The heater was loud enough that you could hear it everywhere in the unit. They switch us to a new room and there’s a heater in the kitchen and fans left in the bathroom from what looks like another ceiling repair. Oh, and apparently the window has been broken long enough that there’s a sign. The fridge is loud enough that the kids are scared. Maybe that’s why the fan?

AC was broken so we were sweltering our entire stay. You also feel like you’re camping when you stay here because they make it your responsibility to take out your own garbage and keep the place to their standards of tidy. What do your housekeepers even do? The photos are made to look much better than it looks in person. The rooms feel grimy, old carpet, extremely outdated. Would not recommend if your definition of staying at a hotel has anything to do with being able to kick back and relax, and watch out for those sneaky service fees.

I loved this resort. I took off one star because the sauna didn't work.

Recently stayed at Eagle Point Lodge and was underwhelmed and a bit disappointed.

Location: If you have your own vehicle you're in good shape if not you're about to find out that every uber ride in Vail is no less than $25.00. There are places with less desireable locations. Eagle point is far west of Vail Village. Although you can hear a pin drop at night.

The Grounds/Building: Hey, 1998 called, they want their paint and decor back. The building is very very tired with peeling paint everywhere. The stairs are horribly worn. The HOA clearly allocate very very little money to upkeep. The grounds have 0 curb appeal, the "lobby" office sort of reminds me of the waiting area at my local Midas auto service. If your mind set is "I dont care where I stay I'm only here for the skiing", then youre fine.

The Room: Perfectly fine, everything was clean and in perfect working condition. There was 0 decor or effort to keep the rooms in a modern tone but thats either a big deal or totally not depending on your preference. I will say the bed in my room was great and its entirely quiet at night

Service/Staff: Wow, like......wow. The staff I interacted with have absolutely 0 training or overall awareness of the words "Hospitality" or "Service". These guys will just nonchalantly walk right by you with no eye contact or a "how are you" etc. They are in their own little world with no concept of being of service to the guests. I sat in the lobby for a bit working on my laptop and these 2 dudes talked for 45 minutes about their stupid electric bikes. They next morning several of us were waiting out front for the shuttle and one of the guys walked out, greeted no one, played with his stupid electric bike and left. I was in the lobby when another guest felt he was assigned the wrong room and was a bit upset. The guy at the front desk did nothing to solve the problem and when the guest left the lobby the emoployee was openingly mocking him. I'm like, "Hey, jackass, I'm right here.....you sure this is the right time to childishly mock that other person?" It became humorous just how tone deaf and detached the "staff" was.

I guess you get what you pay for but when it comes to a service mentality that costs nothing and yields tremendous return.

Eagle Point is a budget condo. It may work perfect for you just know what...

So, first off the room itself was fine. No AC, like it’s fine. One parking spot even for a room for 6? It’s fine. Taking out my own trash, washing the dishes at a hotel, whatever. But the reason for my rating is the front desk manager, Derek, just being incredibly condescending and rude through my check in process.

Reservation was under my name, my friends were planning to arrive over an hour before me. I texted the front desk number to see if they could check in before me. Text confirmation said yes no problem.

Derek apparently thought this was a problem. He wouldn’t let them check in. I called and said hey you said this was fine. He proceeded to argue with me and Mansplain how bookings work, that he can’t change a reservation bc it was booked on booking.com and would not even acknowledge his front desk told me this was okay. Whatever I’ll just talk to him when I checked in and ask he train his staff to know their protocols better.

All I wanted was an apology and acknowledgement that he or his staff was wrong and they misinformed me. I gladly would have called booking.com to avoid the issue - but foolishly trusted the front desk person who texted me confirming it would not be a problem.

I don’t recommend this hotel - unless you don’t care about empathetic customer service. If you want a mansplaining condescending experience , you...

Stayed here for a week, couldnt check out in person since I left early for my job, thats whatever but No one returned my calls for check out, I called numerous times then I get emailed a receipt for part of my stay but not all of it. So today I call and whoever answered was already pissed at me for leaving them several voicemails about getting a receipt, even though I called during normal hours that friday and no one was answering. The manager that stepped in named Dylan was actually kind and helpful and was able to quickly and politely help me out in obtaining my receipt.

As far as the property, rooms are nice and bed was quite comfortable. Property grounds need some work the vibe here is run down and not taken care of. For the price you pay to stay here you are better off getting an air bnb.

Great town to stay in but dont stay here is...
