Donovan Park — Attraction in Vail

This is for the wedding venue in the park. Such a terrible experience had to post. The Pavilion is too small. Our family was seated at a table and when the dancing began they took our table. They did not move our table. They removed it. There were plenty of spaces to move the table to. But they removed it. There was no place for us to sit as all tables were full. So bizarre and insulting. I would never have an event in this venue. Terrible place. Restroom small. Terrible disorganization. Just an awful place. Good spot to park free to go ride or ski Vail. It is limited so get there early, but on the weekday we went riding, there were a number of spaces open still around 9am. Watch for no skier parking signs. For the shuttle, you want to walk down the sidewalk to the bus stop on Matterhorn and W Gore Creek. Good place to park for free if you’re skiing vail. You’ll have to check on vail’s website if you can here. You can take the vail green loop to all of town. About a 30ish min wait at times, just look up the schedule and you’ll be good or you can walk it’s about 20ish mins to the nearest lift.
