Terrible experience! The two owners are extremely rude, lack accountability and they lie to people. I booked a room last night, they were almost sold out so I understood it wasn't exactly going to be great quality. Paid 101 directly from the hotel. I was told that there was an issue with the faucet because somebody shoved a flushable wipe down the drain for whatever reason. That didn't really bother me as long as the toilet and shower worked, and the place was clean. Room was gross!
Not only that, but I checked in, put my bags in the room and I had to head out. I was getting dinner. I come back and one of the owners is in the room fixing the TV. Nobody contacted me. The first words out of his mouth were " I'm fixing your TV. What? You didn't see the cables on the other bed? You saw that someone was in here and the lights were on". Uh excuse me? Don't blame me because you didn't communicate these things. I'm not a mind reader. The way that he approached it was absolutely unprofessional, rude and finger pointing. Lacked any accountability whatsoever. My personal things were in there, and there's a stranger in the room without anybody telling me.
Then he claims the the other owner didn't know about it and that they were trying to get a hold of me, but I left. As if it's my fault. Couldn't call my cell phone number? I mean this is basic stuff. Extremely rude. I asked if he wanted me to leave and he got all huffy and puffy and then said he would refund me if I did, but I'm homeless and needed a place to sleep. That should also tell you something. I'm homeless and this place was even gross to me and I've stayed in some shady places.
I woke up with rashes all over me. There are holes all over the walls and ceilings. There were two beds in the room, one of them had stains all over it. Luckily I had my own comforter and I just slept on top of that, and barely slept a wink.
They did not clean the bathroom at all. The previous guest smeared red paint or something in the shower, and floor. Just little red spots. It wasn't blood because it was more pink. Like lipstick or something? Then there was a hole in the ceiling in the shower. Exposed wires. Along with spiders crawling out of the drain.
Somebody wiped boogers all over the shower curtain, as well. Everything about this place was disgusting. Like I said, I'm homeless and have stayed in some some sketchy places and this was by far the worst. The department of consumer protection, the attorney, general, hospitality or whoever really needs to investigate this place.
As if my stay wasn't already terrible, checking out was also a nightmare. There was a sign on a door that said someone will be back in 5 minutes. I waited about 15. Then the lady rings me in, and says I need to look at the sign. First words out of her mouth. Extremely rude and it was checkout time. I explained to her I was standing there for 15 minutes and she was still being rude.
So then I explained the issues with my stay. I was very polite, wasn't yelling and screaming, berating or being disrespectful whatsoever. I just explained the issues and then she said she gave me a discount on the room because of the faucet issues, and that she told me that it was originally 120 and discounted it to 101. That was an absolute lie. She did not explain any discount to me at all. The only thing she said was that the drain where the faucet is, is clogged. That was it. No discount. Nothing. Just a warning.
Then I explained about the guy in the room, and she cut me off and basically repeated the same thing he did. That they tried to get a hold of me but I left and then I should have known blah blah blah because there was a wire on the bed. I'm not a mind reader and it's not my responsibility to double-check YOUR work. I asked for a 20% discount and she refused. She kept saying that the place was nearly sold out and that she would have cleaned it if I left for a little bit or something which is complete and utter nonsense.
These people are liars, thieves, and absolutely disgusting. Do not stay...
Read moreWe stayed for an overnight at the end of July. First thing we noticed was the incredibly stong odor of maijuana permeating the hallway. Room was very dirty. Cobwebs all over the ceiling and around the beds. Carpets not vacuumed, food all over the floor and carpets were sticky. bed linens either turned inside out and not changed or put on that way by either inexperienced or lazy housekeeping staff. Pillow cases stained with what looked like blood. Beds were very uncomfortable. There were 5 of us and only 2 towels in the bathroom. When we asked for more we were told housekeeping had gone for the day and we needed to come to the front desk to get them ourselves. Then had to wait for wascloths.Toilet paper in the bathroom not changed and only partial rolls left in there. Shower knob installed improperly and not working correctly. The shower curtain had disgusting brown stains all over it as well. Parking lot filthy, and garbage overflowing outside cans. Glass in several of the exterior doors broken, some with just cardboard in them. The pool was closed which by the looks of it was a good thing for us. We booked the room for 5 people, but it only slept 4 comfortably, then told $20 for a rollaway bed, when the Days Inn website says $10. Air conditioner worked good and the shower was hot at least. I understand this is a budget motel, but there are so many unacceptable things, if I could give zero stars I would. I can only hope Days Inn corporate will see all the bad reviews and step in...
Read moreThey made sure they violated my right to privacy multiple times “by accident” yet failed to actually do their job when requested. The water was cold, it wasn’t even luke warm, there were Bugs (beetles, spiders, centipedes, flies and mosquitoes) all over the place, paint chipping off the walls, stains from old feces on the walls. the wifi didn’t work, the fridge didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work, the coffee maker didn’t work, the pool “out of order” and continental breakfast “closed due to covid-19” yet no one there wears a mask. i read reviews before staying here thinking people are just exaggerating, NOPE! This place actually encourages customers to pay cash over card and even say they will give you a discount if you pay cash But its all a trick, they know the rooms are so disgusting you will demand a refund and they will refuse. If you don’t listen to these reviews you will regret it. The police are there everyday to arrest someone, they are there so much they might as well live there. To add insult to injury, I Stay At this Hotel (The Only Place i have ever given my CC info) and then several hours after i check out, my card number is being used for unauthorized purchases at places i don’t frequent, now i need to wait several weeks before i can receive/use my...
