Update: He took my words to heart about the decor and atmosphere. It no longer smells like a doctors office, the menu is streamlined and there's color on the walls. However, that is where the compliments end.
You see, a coffee shop is about the coffee. I ordered a latte. They over pressured the grounds. That is really bad considering the grounds not only take longer to brew, but they get a very strong burnt flavor. My wifes latte had the same issue. Overpressured grounds are usually a sign of poor cleaning. Dunkin, being basic, is miles ahead.
Speaking of poor cleaning, our cups were covered in grounds. That alone shows they don't clean their work station between uses. That further shows me that the equipment is not properly cleaned between uses. There's probably grounds stuck in the holes of the portafilter.
Places like daybreak in Glastonbury do the job much better. I make my own espresso everyday using lavazza beans. Tho no one has been able to make a smooth espresso with the same velvet quality mine has, Vernon roasters proves to still be the worst replacement.
CLEAN YOUR EQUIPMENT. AND ESPRESSO DRINKS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE VELVETY AND SMOOTH. RATHER THAN SHARP AND BURNT. IF YOU NEED HELP PLEASE REFER TO THE DIAL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ESPRESSO MACHINE.
AND OWNER, IF YOU COMMENT THIS TIME, PLEASE COME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER THAN "DOCTORS WALK IN HERE" AND "BUT THE ECONOMY".
No offense to the owner. I'm utterly shocked at the positive reviews to this place. I've been to many coffee shops and am a coffee purist. There's many things this place does so so wrong.
The atmosphere/smell is very similar to a doctor's office break room.
The staff are very quiet and it seems like there's no life or energy there.
The menu in the building is a joke. All the baked goods are also hidden out of view and are not labeled on the menu. You have to ask what kind they are.
Cold brew is growing in popularity. Because it's the absolute best way to enjoy coffee. The cold brew I ordered was so poor that I went to Dunkin to cleanse the taste*
*If that was freshly ground within the past 2 days and not stale, I'll...

I must say I am delighted after my first experience here this morning; I felt compelled to share my story with you after visiting with my girlfriend. At first glance the subtle humor on their chalkboard outside gave me a chuckle 😄. We have a deep appreciation for craft, and the speciality drink board was great. We tried an iced blue moon which was absolutely delicious. The ambiance caught my eye right away making me feel comfortable yet invited and welcome. We are actually on a trip from New Hampshire but hope we can make it back someday. Thank you for making our visit feel like home.
With Love allways, Rob and Mary
P.s. We definitely know and appreciate the secret is behind the shaken, not stirred method and it was awesome to see who we believed to be the owner in his element making our beverages, which brought the biggest smile across Mary's face. Again, thank you, take care and...
Read moreI went here for a late breakfast. I had the loaded Avocado Toast and my family had egg sandwiches. I was very disappointed with my avocado toast. The bread was barely toasted the avocado was seasoned ok. There was a tiny bit of bacon on it and only 1 piece of toast. Usually when I order this at other places I get 2 pieces. $5.50 for a slice of bread a half of piece of bacon and a bit of avocado is quite expensive. My families egg sandwiches were ok. They were lightly toasted . Not very warm or toasty. The drinks were fine. There's only a few tables in there and a couple counter seats. It's a bit noisy which is understandable with all the machines going and it being a small space. I won't be back but glad I tried it. It was on my list of...
