I ordered some mini Christmas lights, and based on the description, I was under the impression they were incandescent. They arrived 12/21 and were LED. I have screenshots of the description and LED is not mentioned anywhere, but it is mentioned on other strands of lights, so I don't think my assumption was wrong. I didn't have time to deal with a return because of the holiday, so a week later I went to pack the lights up to return them and saw on the website that you only have 3 DAYS to return an item. This is not mentioned anywhere in the checkout process (I have screenshots) or even on an order slip in the package (there is no order slip). So, I was too late. Too late to return an item that wasn't even described accurately. Even if I had been on time, with their restocking fees (20%!) and the shipping I'd have to pay (you don't get refunded for the original shipping and mine was $11), I would've paid more than the actual cost of the lights, which were $18. I've tried giving them away, but because they're such a tiny strand of lights, no one wants them (I bought them for a feather tree). So, it's $30 in the trash. I don't use LED Christmas lights because they make my eyes feel weird and I can't use a dimmer switch on them. Also, since all of my other lights are incandescent, these wouldn't match. The situation is haunting me, so I felt I had to get this off my chest and warn others about their deceptive return policy. All of this information should be disclosed at checkout BEFORE the purchase is finalized and no one should be penalized for receiving an item that was described incorrectly.

Response: Not “bashing” anyone, but rather letting customers know to read the return policy first and that products may not be accurately described. This is the whole point of reviews.

You can’t label some strands LED and not others if they’re all LED. Based on the pattern of their light descriptions, I was not unsure about what they were. Products should be described so accurately and thoroughly that no one feels the need to reach out. I was so confident about the purchase that I didn’t need to look for the return policy first. Yes, it’s on the policy page, but it’s not mentioned anywhere in the checkout process, where it should be, especially with a VERY unusual 3 day policy. The return policy is also strongly worded in unapproachable language with fees all over the place. It only says to reach out if a product had a “rough journey,” and they make it clear that full refunds aren’t a thing. So why would I bother to contact them? This unusual return policy is not mentioned anywhere in the checkout process or on a slip in the package. Also, all of their strands of lights are listed under “Lighting” on the website, not “Seasonal & Holiday.” The words “Christmas” and “Holiday” aren’t even mentioned in the description, so how would anyone know they are not returnable? Description: “Teeny Lights 50 Count Green Cord Regular price $18.95 USD The Teeny Lights are a decorative electric strand of 50 glowing warm-white miniature lights secured on a dark green cord. At the end of the day, even if I had read the return policy before checking out, I would’ve continued with the purchase based on the description. They are at fault for not sending the item that was described. Based on their response, even if I had contacted them within 3 days, it’s pretty obvious it would’ve...

I have been following them sience before they moved. I have been want to go for a Ling time but I am about 2 hours away. But Tuesday my husband had a meeting in Bethlehem CT so I hitched a Ride @ 5:00am after his meeting he said is they anywhere y9u want to go. I told her I finely made and we got talking I was in my Primitive Heaven because all the real Primitive store where we live have closes. I absolutely love her shoppe it was very well stocked, clean & yes I found lots of goodies to decorate my home for Christmas. I recommend this shoppe & talk with Lisa. We wanted new bar stools for our island, had an item in mind, and stopped into Primitive Renditions to see how they could help. Lisa was amazing in helping! They were able to get us exactly what were looking for!! They look amazing!!! There is something to be said about handcrafted furniture from PA! The quality is second to none!
