This is a hard review to write because I actually liked coming to this particular store. My fiance ordered some food for us yesterday (9/15/2020). He ordered 2 bigger plates that comes with 3 entrees and 1 side. When he got home for each bigger plates was only 1 entree and full of sides of rice and an extra side of chow mein. I called and was professional with the night manager regarding the communication breakdown with the food. She took my name down and wrote that I was supposed to get 4 entree portions since it was not inside of my 2 plates. I get there today and gave my information and the woman told me to pull up to the window. She leaves then gets the manager who asks what am I supposed to do for you? I let him know that I am owed the 4 additonal entrees as it was not included in my order. He then says he can't honor what was told to me yesterday because I didnt pay for the entrees and that all he could do was give me only 2 entree portions because if he gave me the 4 then he would lose out on money. As I was explaining to him what was told to me and how the order was a miscommunication he repeatedly cut me off to the point where I said I would call corporate, he said call corporate and they will look at the receipt. He tried to say he was the only manager and I spoke to the shift leader that didnt write anything dowm for me but then contradicted himself by saying she wrote my name down and what I needed. I told him that I would call corporate and I asked him why would pay for 2 bigger plates only to have rice and 1 entree. He wavies me off for denying the 2 additonal entrees instead of the 4 (2 for each bigger plate). I go into the restaurant to get a refund where he tells me that I would have to bring in the food in order to get a refund. So i said sir that was from yesterday so im supposed to bring in food from yesterday in order to get a refund for you not honoring what was told to me by the night manager who happens to be his shift leader. He then says I need to wear a mask. I cover my face to and ask for my refund then he threatens to call the police and grabs the phone because he refuses to give my refund. He then increases his tone with me and I respond that I am not a child and he will not talk to me that way and ask for a refund. After him saying he will refund me after I get my mask. I let him know that he was a horrible manager and went to get my mask. The end result is that I was refunded my money from the whole transaction after dealing with an unprofessional manager. I literally the day before spent 21 dollars on food and would gladly spend more when the service matches what I am paying for. This experience was horrible and I will not EVER go this panda express again. Also the manager name is Juan. I hope he grows into a better manager, and seeks caution in this climate to not call the police without an...
Read moreMy husband and I frequently eat at this location and lately the quality of customer service and food freshness has declined. Yesterday we arrived and 90% of the entrees were sitting under the heating lamp dried out with little left for a portion. The fried rice was drying out with small portion remaining and we were getting ready to order three different plates. We looked at the entire selection and several items looked terrible. I am just calling it like I see it. I was not shocked because I told my husband that I believe that this location’s standards were dropping and they almost expect that customers will eat here as if food is food. Panda Express should definitely live up to the brand that I’d known for fresh Asian style entrees. The prices are way higher than tradition Asian restaurants for the portion customers get so please don’t just throw dried hard rice or tasteless entrees that are often up charged into a styrofoam box and think it’s acceptable because it’s disgusting. The customers that eat here want fresh food not food that cats or dogs will turn their nose up to. Get it together at this location. Unfortunately I did not eat here today because it took more than few minutes to get greeted . When we did get greeted we were headed out the door to spend our hard earned...
Read moreSo we decided to come here because we needed something quick before our movie and went to check them out. I will say that when we pulled up i noticed them talking to their health food auditor not a va health inspector but a private company inspector and the only reason i know this is because my restaurant uses the same company. We were greeted with hellos as we walked in. I was a little worried because when your set up cafeteria style sometimes the food doesnt stay very hot and tends to be luke warm. I picked a bowl with veggies on the bottom and a crispy beef and lord i cant remember the name of it lol. My husband picked the same beef but had it over fried rice we also order 2 spring rolls. As we were ordering the manager came in and told all her crew great job because they had scored 98 out of 100. Great numbers! They had gotton hit on a stained (not dirty) cutting board. That makes me even more comfortable with eating here. The food was good, hot, and filling. The spring rolls werent that great they were mushy inside. I would def come back the crew was very friendly, they all were staying busy and not playing around which you see in a lot of fast food chains and their manager was so polite to everyone. An the...
