First off, BEFORE I even made a reservation to stay at this location I looked at photos of the place, and some reviews which was the most recent. The photos are 1000% outdated as if it was taken when they first opened which makes sense because of how almost inhabitable it even looks inside and out now. When I checked in, I had to use the kiosk and once I got the room card the guy told me where to go for my room (which was on the 2nd floor); as I’m walking to my room, I saw a window broken on the first floor but I guess we don’t fix it ? Walking into my room it smelled so bad, there was a dead bug on the floor, the walls and wall molding were all dirty, THE CEILING was even dirty, how is that even possible. The iron board really looked like someone died on it and the AC was just hilarious to me how the vent is just sitting on it broken. The refrigerator was dirty inside and smelled. I did look at some of the lower reviews just tonight and I’ve noticed the main thing that the “management” will respond to people (which let’s be honest is 100% copy and pasted auto generated cause they do not care about the rooms/cleanliness or guests) is (QUOTE) “ The conditions and level of service you described are not reflective of our usual standards ” (END QUOTE) taken from a few of the generic responses. The fact that the same 2 paragraph response is given to every other negative review for over a year and yet nothing has been changed shows the LACK of cleanliness IS their standard. I should of taken pics of the walls and ceiling but didn’t. All you really can do is laugh in that situation. They only care about the little money they get a night for staying cause you really get what you paid for; $70 a night for the most dirtiest motel.

Not a good experience. For the 2nd time being a customer at this location, the same problem, albeit a small one, persisted, which was the clothes hanging rod was falling out of the drywall because it was not mounted to a stud but rather toggle-bolted to the drywall. But the real issue, which makes it inhospitable, was the lack of weatherstripping under the door (and a resultant bug already 18" from the door), which left a gap wide enough for my fingers to fit through. I brought it up with the supervisor, and her response was "that's what you pay for". When I insisted that it is not unrealistic to ask for a door to have weatherstripping and be protected from the elements she then said "When you open the door you let bugs in". Then she said "you'll have to call the manager in the morning". I asked for a spare towel to wedge and under the door, and she refused to be of any help. She got mad that I asked for help, or mad that I made an issue of it. But 20 minutes later, when I was on the the phone with corporate, she budged and offered a towel. All in all, I think she did not comprehend the overarching motivation, which was to sleep soundly knowing I'm inside and the bugs etc are outside. This was a double whammy of an inacceptable issue in the room, compounded by terrible behavior from the on-site supervisor or manager. Will NEVER be customer at this location again, Will not advise anyone else, either, else "you get what you pay for..."

All the pictures from google are fake, the pics I posted is what this place actually likes. The rooms have bugs, the bath/shower is disgustingly dirty and so are the floors. When I asked about the pictures from google maps, they said that was a different property even though it was on their location. I was really dissapointed in this expirience. Do not recomend.

The room wasn't bad but during my stay on 6-12-24 the front office lady that has a blondish color hair older and wears glasses (also one that has said idk why I woke up and even came in to work today on one of the three times I've stayed there) was very rude and very unprofessional. I will no longer stay there due to her. This place is not the best option to choose on staying. God's honest truth I would suggest staying at motel 6 or somewhere else other than here if you wanna be treated with the upmost respect as a paying customer. In all honesty I really was disappointed in my stay last night. I don't know what was going on with that lady last night but yeah COMPLETELY RUDE. Was calling to report that the TV was not working as motels request you to report things that aren't working. The fridge in the room wasn't even plugged in the bed was collapsed on one side of the mattress as well. The lady was raising her voice and being very unprofessional. The place is definitely ran down for sure. My girlfriend wrote a letter out to the manager but I really hope that people choose somewhere else to stay for real. Not going to lie to anyone about the issues there. My advice is to definitely choose somewhere else that will put their paying customers first. Every other motel I have stayed at puts their paying customers first before anything else. It took the lady a whole hour to get anything done. I just simply wanted switched rooms but got told no until the respectful guy that came up told the lady to change my room cuz I wasn't lying about the TV. Was played as we was stupid for real. Oh make sure the TV was plugged in etc. Well obviously if I'm calling you I've already checked everything. I hope the appropriate actions take place on her because she rudely hung up on us and we were not being disrespectful or anything........ I didn't mention anything about refund but their response states I mentioned anything about a refund the only reason we got moved rooms is because of the actual kind and respectful employee. I'm not posting no fake review y'all need shut down for real. Nothing being done about the rude employee that was at the front desk that night. She wouldn't putting paying customers first she raised her voice when unnecessary and rudely hung up I'll just contact corporate on her then and see what they can do for real the owner needs changed from the sound of it every single motel I've been to has put paying customers first. Didn't take them an hour to do anything only took twenty minutes but yet took her an hour to get anyone up to the room just for a couple seconds job. Y'all can do better. There's only one person there that I didn't mind cuz he was very respectful and kind he was very helpful. If it wasn't for the person that came to look at the TV we wouldn't have gotten our room switched at all. I will choose a better motel that's actually worth paying money for I highly suggest everyone choose a better quality motel. This place allows disrespect to their customers from I'm assuming Darlene from...

There are not words to describe the experience we had in less than 30 minutes at this location. We were traveling to Cincinnati when we hit a terrible rain storm. We decided to stop off the closest exit and find a room. While traveling we found the only vacancy to be at this facility. The photos looked surprisingly wonderful so we booked just hoping for a quick place to stay.

Upon arrival we found the facility in shambles. Mattresses in the parking lot. Holes in doors etc. I entered the lobby in hopes of a cancellation willing to pay a fee just to cancel and move on down the line as I didn’t feel safe staying there with my young daughter.

The front desk attendant was helping another family when I entered. The parents did not speak English and their son was assisting with check in. The front desk attendant snapped at him and said that she did not speak their language and that was not her problem.

When I approached I asked if there was anyway I could cancel my booking. I told her the photos did not accurately represent the property and I did not feel safe staying with my daughter. She refused stating that her boss had already processed the charges hours ago. I informed her that I had only paid minutes before entering. She still refused. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She refused. I asked if I could view a room prior to checking in. She refused. She began to yell at me. Speak to the “listening device” in the wall and became belligerent. I told her that I was very sorry for the inconvenience and I simply didn’t feel safe. She responded “you made the mistake now you pay the price”. She refused to give me a room key. My husband went to get the room key and she began cursing at him. When we finally got a room key we found the rooms smelled of smoke. They were dirty and stained. The bathtubs were not clean. The curtains were closed with black electrical tape.

I called the corporate office and was told they could not help me after hours.

After reaching out to my bank and Expedia I was finally issued a refund and $50 credit for the situation. This was by far and above the most horrible encounter I’ve ever had.

We waited for the storm to pass. Drove 25 miles north and stayed at a 4star Marriot for only $17 more.

Do not be fooled by the photos or reviews for this hotel. It is not remodeled or upgraded. It is nasty and they employ terribly mean, racist and rude people. The owners were present for this entire incident and never offered to help or reprimand...

I booked a room 5/16/23. We had previously strayed for 5 days at the Akron Red Roof; (shoutout to Arlington Rd, Springfield/Akron Red Roof- you guys rock!) This Richfield Location had a very agitated front desk person. She was clearly looking to pick a fight with me. She made ot clear that they are not affiliated with Red Roof Inn. She said this place “is a franchise and we don’t know or follow RedRoof corporate Polocy. You’ll have to ask them.” She did not know how to contact Red Roof Inn corporate support. When you’re tired and coming off a long day of driving; this desk woman made things pretty miserable. She insisted we re-do the reservation because we booked using my husbands redipoints (whatever! I don’t give a flip about “Redi-points.. I don’t care what they are or how we can’t use them since it was just me and my 2 year old son traveling. She “had to rebook” the room because the “redi-points” holder needed to be present.” Again, I don’t care about that. But why Suddenly, she only had smoking rooms after she “rebooked”. They were really smoky smelling but I had a toddler and it was getting late and I was tired. Georgia to Akron for a funeral and trying to come back in 1 day; please don’t book at this RedRoof if you help it. The morning man seemed friendly enough. That desk clerk lady made me want to pull my hair out. Very argumentative. I didn’t Dare go ask her for towels (there were none) because she was just NOT nice. The location is tricky to find. The smoking rooms are on the backside of the building. Everything was okay and fine for what we needed. The desk clerk made it harder than necessary to stay there. Never again for me. And good luck to you, if you make friends with the desk person! I’ll never forget her; probably the most mean person I’ve dealt with in a while. Just plain disrespectful and...
