Misty Creek Log Cabins — Hotel in Waynesville

My husband and I just made our “27th” visit to Misty Creek Log Cabins in Maggie Valley. Yes we have been going for a long time. Sometimes we visit in summer to get a reprieve from the heat in Florida. But we always go in the fall to see the beautiful change of the leaves. ||The cabin is always clean and awaiting our arrival. Bob, the owner, greets us as always with his enthusiasm for our visit. He is very accommodating in making each visit better than the one before. He is well versed on things to do in the area, as well as, good restaurants you don’t want to miss. He makes sure your every need is met to make your stay one you won’t easily forget. ||Bob makes the BEST brownies that are “to die for”! So when he asks you if you would like some of his homemade brownies you must say “yes”. What a fantastic experience. There are two 1-bedroom cabins: my husband and I stayed in one and the couple we travel with stayed in the other cabin. The cabins are clean, cozy, well furnished, and homey. From beginning to end, Owner Bob has been warm, friendly, inviting and attentive, and baked us all brownies as a bonus. Cozy cabin with all the amenities right in the heart of Maggie Valley. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location is close to shopping and dining. There's a small stream that runs right next to the cabin and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to it. The owner Bob is super nice and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.
