ThIs place is awesome! Sits back off the road behind the creek which makes for a nice setting. And is quiet and peaceful. Has a full kitchen and a couple bbq grills so you can cook up your own meal and then sit by the fire pit in the cool mountain air. The motel is older, but the rooms are clean, the mattress was new & very comfortable !! Has wifi and flat screen tvs if you need it. Lori was great!! and very accomodating. We will definitely be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay at rolling brook. Rooms were clean and updated. It was a good mix of new and keeping the vintage motel feel. Community kitchen on the water was awesome. Community fire pit was good for chit chatting. It’s in walking distance to everything good. Especially the wheels of time museum. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely going back.

We have been coming to this same place to hotel at for the past 3 years, it is such a hidden little gem and a lovely place to be at! It has cute little rooms, clean and smells good everytime. My child loves the stream, its quiet area. Close to surrounding area! 10 out of 10, and will only stay here anytime we come into town. Super highly reccomend!

Says its dog friendly and after our dog was crying to go outside at 3 am, we had someone banging on our door at 4am, waking up me and my 6 year old. There is a wierdo guy with a beard that lives there squatting in one of the rooms walking around all hours of the night peeking in windows, carrying alcohol and started trouble with us the next morning, walking right up to our dog, and when our dog wanted to play, he yelled at us to control our dog, we told him we were sorry, and said he'd handle the problem and said he was going to get a gun. So we called the police to keep us safe while we checked out. The manager denied banging on our door then his little sidekick stated it was 230 am. so he lied. ||this is a tiny outdated squatters hippy haven. Rude, nosey management, little hot water, dirty pans in the community kitchen that had to be washed...

Our family was in an emergency situation when our scheduled rental was double booked nearby. With 4 crying kids and melting ice cream and a weeks worth of groceries in the car the Lynn and Regina immediately took us in, made us feel right at home, and within minutes my children were delightedly playing in the creek and our groceries were saved. The atmosphere takes you back in time to simpler days with friendly folk. It’s quaint and idyllic location are lovely but the true icing on the cake is the hospitality that will greet you the moment you step foot on the property. Maggie Valley is a delightful little town to visit as well. Lynn and Regina take complete delight in making your stay as comfortable as possible- don’t miss this hidden time capsule that will help all the craziness of America fade...

my sister and i wanted to get away for a couple of days and decided to stay at Rolling Brook ,that was a great choice ,the staff there are very friendly ,the room was clean and cozy ,the layout of the place is perfect, we felt very safe being there, the place takes you back to a better time when things were a little more simple like actually having a real key to your room and a sense of community like the kitchen everyone shares. we absolutely recommend this place for a refreshing get away from the hustle and bustle world ,we look forward to coming back in the fall .we cannot say enough about this beautiful gem we...
