Ate lunch here today. First time we dined in. Last time I got a Reuben to go for my son that he enjoyed so much we decided to eat in today. First of all the service from Nicole H. was exceptional! She was friendly, great attitude, kept the beverages refilled without having to request it and the food was served hot. I had a pastrami with Swiss-cheese on marble rye bread toasted. My son had the Reuben with the corned beef (not the turkey). First pastrami for me in many years and I thoroughly enjoyed and my son said the Reuben was also very good. We each opted for the side salad for a 2.25 upcharge it was a fresh salad with crispy lettuce (not iceberg) tomato pieces, etc. I had the raspberry vinaigrette...awesome! Also kudos to Nicole for seeing my US Navy Veteran hat and adding the military/veteran discount without me asking for it. Total bill just under $30 plus tax. I enjoyed the entire experience and the Nicole earned my maximum tip of 33% ($40 for a great lunch). In the interest of full disclosure we ate 1130-12 time and the place was far from busy. But winter Wednesday in Maggie Valley that...

We were there last Friday the 15th. It was busy but not crazy by any means. Our server was a very nice young man. He said it would be about a 20- 30 minute wait. We had been there for 25 already. But we were looking forward to the food. My wife order a basic grill cheese with ham and I ordered the brats. My brats were very dry. Her ham and cheese looked like it was just slapped together with no care at all. Me wife has made better sandwiches going 70 miles an hour down the road. The line cook seemed angry and was disciplining the servers as they came up which made us uncomfortable. If it hadn’t of been for my wife I was going to confront him. He was loud and obnoxious. The environment was not good and the food was horrible . It’s a grill cheese for god sakes, how do you screw that up. The lady who checked us out didn’t ask if we liked our food or visit and frowned the whole time. I’m still extremely mad that I paid 26 dollars for this meal. I would have been better served and had better food at...

The people here are so friendly. Straight in sat down drinks food very fast. Server was on point with everything. The best Italian sandwich I’ve had in a wile. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Ok second time coming to eat here. We are from Augusta Ga and it is a blessing to come to the sandwich shop these people are the best, the food is great every time, and as far as the price it is very fare for a hand made sandwich. Go to any other sub chain shop and it is the same taste just average. These are hand made with love and taste awesome. We will return here every time we come to Maggie Valley. Just so happens we get there 10 to 15 minutes before closing both times and they welcome us lovingly every time. YALL KEEP DOING WHAT...

This gem was worth our lunch break...the service was so friendly in everything, from seating us, taking our order, giving samples of slaw, serving our order, helping us on the best places and times to view the local population of Elk...you have to wait a little on your food, as they prepare to order, fresh meats, tasty in everyway possible...I had the Rueben with the vinegar based slaw, my husband had Turkey Bacon Swiss melt and chips...they serve sweet tea, unsweetened tea and coke products...we left so satisfied , next time back in Maggie Valley, we will BE BACK for more, they have small quaint seating, and a room in back for a large party if needed...May your tummy be happy as ours were, wanting to come back for more...The SmithClan

Catching up on my reviews of places we ate at during our Maggie Valley NC trip on July 6. My advice plan your visit here if possible before Saturday. They seem to let everything run out . Everything I wanted to try the reply was we are out of that but you can come back Tuesday. That's good advice if you aren't from 6 hours away and just visiting. But I ordered the Italian on wheat. Must say sandwich and cole slaw side was excellent 👌. Sweet tea was good and not overly sweet like some places. My wife ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Philly which was again excellent. Server's were attentive, Service was quick. I recommend a visit and we hope to return.

Ordered a Cuban sandwich and a cup of tomato basil soup. Sandwich was well made, the pork had a lot of flavor, bread was prefect (I grew up in Florida down the road from a Cuban family owned sandwich/ convenience store) soup was very good, many T.B. soups are made way to sweet, this one was spot on. Customer service was great, greeted quickly, engaging conversation, everything was on point. Recieved a loyalty card which I will put to good use. Had to take half the sandwich home with me, definitly recommend.
