ROOM FOR GROWTH I stay at Hampton Inn most out of the Hilton properties. They usually have a good resting area, pool, exercise room and customer service. They’re usually very clean and accommodating. I would make these recommendations: Front desk provide a little more relief to guests. When asking for the room to be cleaned up at noon, make sure the cleaning staff knows and that you tell the guest “ye” not “the cleaning staff will be leaving soon” No they weren’t leaving for two more hours and they only needed to take care of the towels and bathroom floor. When asking for a non-slip bathtub May, have one. It’s a potential lawsuit. Children and disabled persons need mats. GET some to put in rooms when people ask for them management could have immediately gone out to get some when we requested for one. While the buffet staff has a lot to manage, patrons want to have things easy for themselves. Get non-stick spray for your waffle makers (the other 13 Hampton I’ve stayed at this year have it). Have sodden tongs for the toaster for safety measures. Especially when children are attempting to do things themselves (I witnessed an unsupervised child using metal tongs to get her toast). If staff is going to smoke on property, don’t go next to a door. Even if it is raining. There is always...

I had a late check in (9pm). I waited for 5-10 minutes at front desk listening to the lady in the office on a personal phone call laughing and whatnot. When she did come out she argued whether I was on the reservation. This is a corporate account, it happens.
I woke the VP of the company out of bed to straighten things out. This was only to find out after that the only issue was that I couldn't use the card on file. No problem, used my company card. She then proceeded to tell me that she has been doing this for 13 years and knows all the ins and outs, blah blah. 13 years I can see why she's still 3rd shift, time to call friends I guess. When I was walking away she asked, um, are you going to want your bottles of water? Wow
Got to the room, awesome room btw, turn on tv. Awesome, lots of channels. Hit the guide, no program info available. So like that extra tv in the guest room you just screwed the lone into to get basic cable.
Ok, just just went to sleep. Got in the shower and realized they put out 2 conditioners and no shampoo.
Maybe it was luck of the draw but I was there 10hrs total and it was riddled with...
Read moreThis was a nice, clean, new Hampton Inn prototype design. Their pet area is taken care of and to the left of the pool room area outside. They are pet friendly, as are all Hampton Inn by Hilton hotels are now. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, they were very nice when they helped me buy a Strongbow beer and a water from the suite shoppe. Really was nice after a full-on worn out day Kings Island. Highly recommend your hotel installs car chargers as the nearest level 3 charger is about 5 miles the other way, so had to go do that for about 20 minutes. Breakfast was nice, staff was extremely helpful and it looked like good food. I tried a couple of things and tasted like they care about food. Thanks again so much for being accommodating and making my husband, pets and my stay graat, not to mention I had a fantastic birthday. It felt genuinely like they were making sure myself and everyone there was there "for the stay". Side note, it you see an old Hampton Inn under rehab, drive a couple blocks down and you'll see this new one. I arrived at 11 PMish that night so wasn't easy to tell right off until I got up to it and realized it wasn't the new Hampton, so yeah its down...
