Logan Mill Lodge - Vacation Rental — Hotel in Westby

I have stayed at Logan Mill Lodge on two separate occasions and hope I can do so in the future. The owners are extremely accomodating and the units have a ton a character. I stayed in Unit #3 both time and was as comfortable as though I was at home. It is extremely large with a generous living area, large screen TV, and separate dining area. There is an electric fireplace with a bed just behind the living area and the large kitchen behind that. This unit had two nice size bedrooms with the larger of the two featuring a bathroom w/jacuzzi tub. There is another full bath just off the kitchen. In my over 30 years of business travel, I have never enjoyed a stay as much as I have at the Logan Mill Lodge. While I haven't had a chance to use this area yet, they also have a large meeting space with overhead projector and big kitchen. I have seen the two other units and they certainly have as much character and space as the unit I stayed in. I would HIGHLY recommend Logan Mill Lodge for anyone traveling in...

Just finished a wonderful weekend--4 days and 3 nights-- with quilting friends at the "Mill" and everyone was so impressed. Ruth made sure everything was just right. The day before she met with me and tables were set up, irons and boards ready, extension cords out. Was at our beckon call if needed. There were 14 of us from North Dakota, Minnesota, Waupaca area, Milwaukee area and Westby natives. The condos were clean and gave plenty of room if anyone needed to step away from their machines for a bit or if a movie was calling. Plenty of bathrooms in each condo and by the work room. A beautiful job to refurbish a piece of history rather than demolish it. One friend was pleased as punch to have the handicap area since she was still rehabbing a broken hip. Guests enjoyed the downtown area as well--creamery, antiques, good small town restaurant, gift shops, plus some neighboring town shopping. Thanks so much for everything Ruth. Our group stayed here for 3 nights in Sept 2012 - the accomodations were fantastic with tons of living space, private kitchens in each unit, large deck, and inviting decor. All the units our group had were spacious, clean and very comfortable! Our unit had 2 bedrooms, a loft style area and a pull down bed. We slept 7 very comfortably and had 2 full bathrooms in the unit as well as a full kitchen and deck. We rode motorcycles which we were able to keep in the large overhang garage and the owners had bike rags available to shine the bikes at the end of the day. We needed one of the bikes jumped and the owners came to help right away. The owners helped us find transportation for anight out in LaCrosse, made sure we all had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definately be back and loved the lodge, the town and the scenery. Great little home style restaraunts within 1-2 blocks away; grocery store in town, all the conveniences we needed within...
