I absolutely loved my experience with the Westby Cheese and Gift Store. I host a huge polka party at my house every year for over 200 family and friends and make all the homemade Polish food. This year the dry curd cheese I got from my previous supplier turned very bad very quickly and takes very long to receive the order. With only a very short time before party day I was in a panic on where I was going to be able to find more cheese to make our pierogi. I scoured the internet and came across Westby. Their ordering process was easy as pie and even better they were able to ship the product to me via express mail in just 5 business days. The product arrived as expected and was packed very well in a cooler. When I opened the bag, I had never smelled such fresh dry curd cheese before. And even better it was delicious! I was very happy to find your web site. I have many happy childhood memories of both Westby and the creamery! My mother grew up in Westby and actually my great grandfather’s home was at that time next door to your property. I am pretty sure the creamery purchased it many years ago. He was quite a local legend at the time . His name was Andrew Peterson. Several times when visiting him and my grandparents I would go over to the creamery and watch things like cottage cheese being made. I ORDERED A BOXFULL OF CHEESE CURDS, TO BE DELIVERED TO MY HOME IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT, THE CHEESE CURDS ARRIVED SOON AFTER-AND WERE DELICIOUS. EACH OF MY THREE GROWN CHILDREN WERE GIVEN TWO BAGS TO ENJOY, AS WELL.
