This place is not free breakfast. How about when I first got here the room wasn’t all that clean. I actually had to get a different room due to them giving me a dirty room. Don’t waste your money here if you don’t have too. From the weed smoke to the guys doing crack in the hall ways. And as a young lady I feel so uncomfortable leaving my room due to males trying to sexual assault me. The district manager just treated me so poorly I been here over two month and this week will be the last week I stay here. I am homeless so I had to stay here I have not been a problem I go to work and come in. I spend over 500$ a week. Where I should feel safe. They are more about males than they are women here. It’s way too over priced they don’t come and clean your room. I asked for sheets and never got them had to buy my own sheets. They housekeeping will not service you or ask if you need service. And when you do ask for something they say ask the front desk. It’s like the projects here. When you come you may have to wait for someone to come to the front desk. One night I waited 30 minutes to get access to my room. Oh and I almost got put out for raising my voice. In a public setting. I believe its because I’m black. The district manager was quick to disrespect me as a women but he quickly turned his energy down to the male. it’s not clean the hallways are always dirty the laundry room is so dirty I wouldn’t wash my clothes there. Just go somewhere else it’s not worth it.

If there was a way to give this Extended Stay zero stars I would. This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The staff was awful! When I say awful, it was unbelievable at how poorly managed this location is. I watched the night staff run different women in and out of rooms all hours of the night. During the day you would think someone would be at the desk to help you if you need help, nope. Literally stood at the desk for 30 mins before anyone came out of the employee room provided and was physically bothered on why I was needing his help. The free breakfast isn’t breakfast, and most of the time it’s almost empty due to the homeless walking in and grabbing the muffins, granola bars, and coffee offered for breakfast.THE WHOLE FACILITY SMELLED LIKE CIGARETTES, MARIJUANA, MOLD, and WET MOLDY LAUNDRY. The rooms are not what the photos portray online. This place is filthy and unacceptable and when asked if someone was coming to clean my room, I was told they only have a cleaning service that comes every other week. Which probably explains the random infestation of bugs that fly around your room at night. This place is dangerous and should not be advertised how it is. There are way better hotels in the area that are just as good in location. DO NOT STAY HERE!

3rd edit update: Some deep cleaning... found the sweet condom wrapper at the bed headboard. See photo. This place is disgusting. 2nd update edit: Washing machines are $3.00 to wash and $3.00 to dry. F-ing criminal. And they don't have laundry soap in the machines for purchase. Probably for the better, they'd charge $10.00 for that. Update edit: Thanks for the bot response. You pretty much say the same thing to each negative review, but do nothing to correct the issues. Downgrading to a 1. The owners clearly haven't invested a dime in this placed since it was built. Not exaggerating here, the place is a dump. The rooms are spartan and outdated. There is not a single thing in the room. Dishes are $20 extra. No sheets for the pullout sofa. No silverware. Also, the A/C sounds like truck coming through the wall. Read the other reviews and trust them. We were one of many that review here that were told the larger room we booked was sold out, so we had to settle for the smaller room. Put this one on my "never again" list.

I've stayed in some low class places, but this one was definitely the worst. We've been on the road for over two weeks, and the apartment we were expecting here has been delayed in being ready. Anyway, we are very tired, and I was looking forward to a little place to rest with my husband and 3 yr old. The entryway was dark coming in, but the lady seemed friendly enough. She told us that the room we had booked online (King with a sofa bed) wasn't available, but she could get us one king. When we walked into the room we were hit with an almost solid stench of stale urine. The room had obviously not been cleaned. We tried to open the window to no avail. There were no tables in the room, so the lamps and phone were either on the floor or the bed.

After about 2 minutes of the smell, we went back to the front and asked politely to be switched to another room. She told us the next room she could get us would be a single queen. We would take anything over that stench. We went to our new room, which, at first smell, seemed ok. After we put away our "essentials" kitchen set (complete with no forks), I soon found the floor had obviously not been swept in a while, the carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time, and the kitchenette counter was covered in sticky spots and rings.

I turned to my daughter who had found a single thick black hair on the floor and held it up to me. I know that is something easily missed, so I just threw it away and went back to trying to make the room resemble something close to cleanliness. As I was wiping down the counter, my daughter ran over to me excitedly saying, "Mommy! I found more hair!" I turned to find her holding a huge glob of tangled hair in her tiny hand! I was more than a little disgusted.

After this incident, I decided to more thoroughly inspect the room. I found mold in the fridge, more hair and heaven knows what in the bath and shower curtain, and dirt and hair in the sheets of the bed.

Call me crazy, but even when I pay a low price for something, I expect it to be clean! We gave up our room at the Chicago Club down the street because we thought having a kitchenette would be better than a pool... I'm seriously rethinking that decision. I would gladly pay more and give up a dirty kitchen for a pool, clean rooms, and a full...

I just came home from a 10 month deployment and I desperately needed some rest. I picked this hotel because it looked nice and it was placed in a respectable area close to my army unit. The staff wasnt well trained in the customer service area. Chrissy was "assisting" an older women and denied a few of her request and was not very helpful, so i helped her out instead. The manager on duty shouldn't hold that title because he was everything but that. He left the guest with no help as well. Even when she needed a fee items carried to her room because she was unable. (She was dropped off by a taxi and the driver carried her ONE box into the lobby.) The front desk was always left unattended because he had to take numerous smoke breaks. The hotel was very loud and I couldn't get a lot of rest unless the t.v. was playing for background noise purposes. The t.v. didnt work and when I called the front desk maintenance came to "assist." The guy looked at the cable cord and switched the t.v. on and off and looked my way and said, "it's not my fault, you have to talk to the manager" and he left the room. There was no hot water for 2 days and the blankets smelled like someone was laying in them after a long day at the gym. So i used my own sheets, pillow, and my laptop for background noise. My room was not accessible at all times. When I thought it was my key cards, I went to the front desk and switched them out. Come to find out it was the actual door handling unit. When the staff came up to reset the code, they did not know it. They informed me that maintenance changed the code and asked if I could wait down stairs. About an hr later the code was reset. I was very tired given the fact that I just came from a time zone where they are 9 hours ahead of central time. There was also a fire at the hotel and the alarm did not sound off like it should've. The only thing that woke me up was screaming people running out of the hotel. There was no direction and even the local police were confused as to what was going on. I ended my stay early and cancelled the rest of my reservation. I was struggling to give this hotel any stars at all. This place was not a great stay...

I made a reservation at ESA due to the mass power outage August 10th that swept through the region. I wanted a comfortable relaxing and peaceful experience with a reasonable hotel. Once I arrived to check in I encountered a rude CSR by the name of Victoria. I had to mentally prepare myself not to act outside of my norm of character. She was extremely rude. Told me the power effected the room locks so anytime I needed to leave out the room I would have to notify her. So I inquired why wasn’t this information relayed before I paid. She said I just informed you do you want me to cancel your room? I told her no need to cancel the room it’s no big deal but the point is that type of detailed infraction should’ve been shared before someone purchases a room with no other options due to a week long power outage. I then asked to see the room due to the bad reviews I read.Immediately she seemed irritated. She walks me to the room and it’s spotless..no smell and comfortably cool. So I go out to my car retrieve my items carrying a few groceries and tote bag of clothing/hygiene and came back to the front desk to ask to be let in my room. She then tells me with a attitude while sitting on the lobby floor painting the lower wall and on FT. I left the door propped open for you when I showed you the room.Again, why wouldn’t you inform me that Oh by the way I left the door open for you to enter on your way back into the building. If your miserable with your job/not a people person you should not be in customer service PERIOD. Her whole demeanor was unacceptable. It’s like I was a nuisance to her by checking into the hotel. How Does That Make Sense? Later that night I heard some voices arguing and a woman saying I will never return to this hotel again. This is unacceptable. I didn’t come here to be disrespected. She walked pass my room door and I looked out the peep hole and heard her say I can’t believe she cussed at me. So I wondered if Victoria attitude had escalated with another customer. However I enjoyed my room but the service was trash. This young lady either needs a training on customer service etiquette or needs to...
