Terrible experience from the start. Mike who worked at the front desk told me a rate of $73 when online and at the location it advertised $60 a night. I proceeded to get the room. I asked for smoking room and he gave me a room that was occupied. I went back to the front to get the new room and walked to my room. Walking in, I was not content with the room and the appearance. It was hot as the A/C unit wasn’t plugged. The bed sheets had holes and burnt holes. The ceiling had a weird yellow brown substance on it. Many other items were not up to the right standards and I decided to go back up to the front to get a refund. Immediately, I asked for a refund and said I was unhappy with the room. He (Mike) told me he wouldn’t give me a refund and he then called the cops. I was calm, didn’t make any threats. I asked for corporate number and he gave me the number to the reservation line. Reservation line then gave me the proper number to corporate. I called by that time police had arrived and started to ask questions. There really wasn’t a scene, officers just let me know that Mike would continue to call them so wanted me to make decision to leave or stay. I’m going to do whatever is necessary to get my funds back because i didn’t stay in the room. And I believe Mike should be terminated for customer service he DID NOT SHOW. - Taylon

My son reserved a room at this location this afternoon. Online stated a price of $58/night. Attached are the pictures of Room #230. There is no room charge listed. Online stated $59. The attached receipt does not reflect a nightly charge. Most reputable hotel chains have a detail receipt of charges. When he arrived at the location, the receptionist stated a difference price. After going to the room, he went back to the front desk to request another room due to the state of the room assigned. It was not as pictured, it was dirty and very unsanitary. The receptionist refused to refund my son his funds for being unsatisfied with the hotel room. In addition, he did not offer another room. His way of conflict resolution was to call the police on my son. Of course as a young black man, he contacted his mother. The officers did not intervene. This was completely unacceptable and this hotel needs to be inspected for safety and sanitation standards. I believe this hotel is being fraudulent to low income individuals. No apology will be sufficient for what my son has had to endure. He spent his last on this property and to be threatened by law enforcement was horrible!

I woke up today to walk my dog. When I exited my room I saw a whole bunch of bbs all over the sidewalk and around my truck along with other peoples cars. I inspected my truck and found some scratches from kids playing around my truck. 🤬

Red Roof ||I am convinced that the family that owns this property either hates hospitality or just doesn’t care anymore probably a bit of both. ||There’s a for sale sign on the property, which is an indication to me that they checked out a long time ago. ||I’m gonna share with the meaning of hospitality is since they forgot. ||Hospitality encompasses the relationship between a host and guest, characterized by generous and friendly treatment, often involving the reception and entertainment of guests in a comfortable and welcoming environment.||I attempted to check in at 3:15. I was told that I had to wait till 4 PM. I thought maybe it’s because my room wasn’t ready when I checked into my room I realize there were dead insects in my sink and my bathtub which indicates to me that I wasn’t waiting for the room to be cleaned. I was just waiting because someone wants to make people wait for no reason. ||Two other guests tried to check in around the same time and since the lobby was locked, they had to wait outside in 100° heat shame on you. What a pathetic excuse for a hotel owner ||I’ve stayed at many red roof ends in my life. I would’ve never considered it to be a bargain basement chain until the stay at this property. I cannot believe that it’s allowed to be called the Red Roof Inn. ||The door to the room has been bent. You can see part of the outside of the door on the inside. There’s a big gap at the bottom of the door. ||The rusted and empty Kleenex container on the wall shows me the type of disrepair that most of the other rooms are probably in. ||I’m embarrassed for the person that knows this property that they would even come to work. ||I do not recommend this property.
