My family and I visited here from Monday, 23rd October, to Saturday, 28th October 2023. The room was smoky 🚬 even though it had no smoke sign on it and smelled awful, like it needed to air out. I am usually one to read reviews, but I didn't, and I was disappointed I didn't. As I read while I was in Lamber Inn, there one person mentioned roach. When we got into the room, it had a fork on the ground, I checked the beds. My small son saw a roach & spider by the bed. Approximately all together, I must have killed 10 roaches. Once you see one roach, tell yourself more. I told the owner, "I want to believe an Indian man." He said they usually come once a month to spray. My response to him, well, clearly they are not doing a good job. This isn't good. He said he has bug spray, and he will come. Never came. Next thing it had, Nats in the sink every night get up had this and some on the bed. The owner said they clean the room every 3rd day put the sign outside. They didn't come on Wednesday, I went downstairs to remind them to come, and they came on Thursday. You have to throw out your own trash. The shower is very powerful, so be careful opening as water seeps out easily. There is a $20 deposit upon leaving you get it back once the room is good. They should not even have a deposit due to how they do business. The cleaners I told them about the room etc, they were shocked, I showed them and they said talk to the owner I said, I did, they speak Spanish/Español. They did what they had to do. The internet was good, give them that. The fridge was a good size. If they could only work on everything else and their customer service, as my husband said, they were not friendly. With me, they dealt cool. I guess I am a woman I am straightforward & I do not mince my words. Paying for a service, deliver. I read someone said they are not friendly. The plus is around here has Quad Center (inside has Ross, Valatara Supermarket, Dollar tree, Marshall's, etc). One Towel had smelled a bit off. Make sure you get the amount of towels for the number of people in the room. Thank God we had a place to stay. However, Lambert Inn, you all can do better than this, especially to be in an area like this in Whittier. This is unacceptable to the highest. No one should have to be shaking out their shoes and clothes. In addition, when a person didn't come with roaches, no one wants to leave with roaches. Do better Lambert Inn!! I'm totally disgusted with this....

This place was just about the awful place I have ever stayed in. First when I was trying to check in the man behind the desk is the rudest person. I had booked thru Priceline so when I told him that I had reservations he was to quickly decline that I had to go to another hotel. Once I mentioned that i booked thru Priceline he reach to paper of reservation their was my info. I clearly stated that I needed a handicap room he said no and no. I had no choice but to get what he did have. Now the walk space from the room door to the bathroom was so narrow that my husband wheelchair could not fit. We made it work. Room does not not even a coffee machine, nor a iron , iron board tv does not have working remotes couldn’t turn it off. The place don’t try to hide the fact they got roaches because roach traps are in plain view, the bed spread all kinds of cigarette burns. My husband and I left to wedding venue came back to hotel. We couldn’t get into our room with key. The lock was jammed. My husband goes back down stairs to manager office. My husband explained how we couldn’t open our door. This his response ( I am not a mechanic you can sleep in your car) once my husband raised his voice that this is unacceptable. After a few minutes he came up to the second floor he was having problems opening it but he finally did. Not once did he apologize for our troubles. This place I can’t even rate because a one star is going to far. For what I paid for room it was definitely...

I found out about this place through DayUse, so I got the room from 11am-3pm. In total, I paid ~$77.

First thing's first: If you're someone that doesn't carry cash on you, be aware that they require a $20 cash deposit! The DayUse site said they didn't accept cash payment, so it totally caught me off guard. They also didn't warn me about that until after they took my payment... Luckily, my boyfriend carries cash on him, but I wish I got a head's up....

Moving on, I got my Non-Smoking Room, like I requested. I noticed one lock didn't work, only the one on the knob did. Other than that, the room and bathroom were actually very nice. The Wi-Fi and TV were really good. (Though, my boyfriend noted there were 2 remotes because the volume wasn't working on the main one). We had a nice big mini fridge and microwave in our room. There was also a small table and a couch on the side. I quite liked having the table there when we ate. The AC was working pretty well, but it was somewhat noisy. I do wish the light for the room was brighter. It was one of those yellow lights, and it was somewhat dimmer than what we were hoping for, but it did the job.

Overall, I enjoyed the room we got for my short stay. There were some issues I noticed, but I suppose you get what you pay for? 🤷 I wouldn't mind staying here again...

They are adequate. They look sorta refurbished/dated. The location & prices are what make it a deal. About 30 min from LAX or Disney & the Anaheim convention center. We had a room w/2 separate bedrooms & a kitchen for roughly the same price as a mid-range hotel closer. We were glad to have the same space as a small apartment since we stayed for a whole week. The down side was that the bathroom vent was not connected. Also, be aware that there is a $20 key deposit that you get back when you return the key. It's an actual key, not just a card like most hotels.
