Riverview Resort — Hotel in Yarmouth

Just got back from week stay here with family. We stayed over Christmas and arrived late Christmas Eve. The office did notify us of early closure, but instructions for late arrival were clear. The only thing that concerned me was our keys being in the same lockbox as another guest with names on it( for me, that's a privacy issue). The hotel is very relaxed and casual, but I also observed other ways where guests' verification wasn't observed . I didn't worry much because it's the Cape and low-key safe area. The resort is on the river and next to a pier, which is nice . Location is close enough to nearby towns, so easy access to everything. The common shared lounge and kitchen were very nicely kept and cleaned. Guests tend to respect the policy of keeping so much, which I admire. We used it a few times, and I saw housekeeping presence as well. The gym and pool/hot tub area is a nice tough. Just enough for comfort and need. Rooms are very spacious, and such comfortable beds. Rooms are clean as well, and an average 3 star hotel ambiance. The tvs are a bit small but doable. Not smart TV, which would have been nice. I also think a nice touch would be an electric kettle in each room since hot plates aren't allowed and the kitchen can get crowded if the hotel is full. The outdoor back lawn is really beautiful and we had some nice winter days,so we enjoyed that. We didn't use the laundry room but others did and price seems reasonable. I'd stay here again, very convenient and pleasant. Pleasantly and courteous staff . Only draw back was really horrible wifi service, and somehow AT&T coverage next to none when at the property. Another recommendation would be wider shower curtains, automatic door opener after scanning key when office is closed , for kitchen use , maybe implementing a sign to use sheet or request time to avoid families meeting at same times because the space is small even though there's plenty utensils and 2 stoves , etc .. Overall, it's a nice spot for a family or a couple. I didn't get a chance to take better photos of our one bedroom and 2 bedrooms because we were so tired on arrival and...

We booked a stay for 3 nights in the 2 bedroom condo for 4 adults. The place was above our expectations. Everything was spotlessly cleaned. Large fridge, microwave in the kitchen area. Table for 4. Living room had a couch and a chair, TV with cable and a DVD player. You can rent movies from the front desk. One bedroom had a king sized bed and full bath. The other bedroom had two double beds and a full bath. The living room area had a half bath. Each bedroom had balcony doors which led to the outside with views of the Bass River. The living also had it's own door. This condo is on the backside of the resort which is right on the river. We'd go out in the morning and watch the swans swim around and boats on the river. The hotel has a heated pool and a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi wasn't open at the time we were there, for repairs. Upstairs on the 2nd floor is a workout room. Both are open 8 to 8. Also on the 2nd floor is a game room with a pool table. In that same area are 2 full sized kitchens for use and tables to sit at after you cook your meal. There's a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher as well as all the dishes, pots and pans you need to cook with. We used this one night to cook fish the guys caught that morning. It was so convenient to have. We all enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to families of all sizes. Confidently located to restaurants, shopping, beaches etc....

I had the most incredible time at Riverview Resort! The name says it all – the breathtaking scenery by the river truly made my stay magical. Waking up to the tranquil water and lush surroundings was a dream come true. Not to mention, the resort's convenient location made it easy to explore the area's attractions.

The cherry on top was the outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. It's rare to encounter such genuine hospitality, and it truly made my experience unforgettable.

The updated rooms were a treat in themselves. Modern, cozy, and well-appointed, they provided the perfect retreat after a day of adventures. I loved how the resort combined natural beauty with modern amenities seamlessly.
