I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like this needs to be said. I’ve been coming here for a while now, and I’ve always had such pleasant service from the young ladies working behind the counter. They’re fast, polite, and always manage to keep a good attitude, even when the line’s out the door. I was in this morning, and the girls were moving through the line quickly, smiling, and making sure everyone was taken care of. But today, something happened that didn’t sit right with me.
There was a man in a blue shirt who came storming up behind the counter while one of the young women was finishing up my order. She was doing a great job polite, focused, handling the register and moving us right along. And this man again, in a blue shirt cuts in, tells her (in a very rude tone, might I add) to help someone else while she was in the middle of cashing me out! No “please,” no patience, nothing but attitude.
Now I don’t know who he thinks he is, but that was completely unnecessary. It embarrassed the girl and made things uncomfortable for the customer he told her to help. We’re all doing just fine waiting an extra minute if it means getting treated like people, not cattle.
This is no way to talk to someone, especially not a young woman who’s working hard and doing her best. I just want to say to the ladies behind the counter you’re doing great, and people notice it. Keep your heads up. As for that man in the blue shirt? He ought to learn a little something...
Read moreI came here today, July 27 at around 9:15 AM and did not get my order at all. At approximately 10 AM I went to the counter and said I never received my order and I’ve been waiting forever. They said I’ll be just right out. The girl forgot to put it in. I did not wait any longer so I wanted a refund. The girl said we don’t need the card, I waited for another 10 minutes for my refund to be issued and instead I was charged with no refund . The manager was there and didn’t even acknowledge what was going on with my order. So unfortunately, I have to write a review. I suggest this place really figuring out their flow of operation. From the second you walk in there are a long lines and congested areas where your food can be easily taken by somebody else. I suggest giving out numbers to people with orders that way they could return those numbers to the register when they receive their orders. I normally go here three times a week, but this is unacceptable and I will never be returning. I will take down this review if I...
Read moreThe place looked amazing and had great service so no complaints there! But as a harsh food critic, I wanna put in my insight. My mom and I both got bagels and decided not to get them toasted (as New Yorkers born and raised it is a known fact that good fresh bagels don’t necessarily need to be toasted). We were a little disappointed by the quality of the bagels- which were quite firm and reminded us of the bagels you could find at a grocery store. Maybe we just got bagels that weren’t as fresh. That being said, if you go, I suggest getting your bagels toasted!! We also got a donut to share and it was pretty good, but wasn’t anything special. All of this aside, everyone was nice, our food was ready quickly and i appreciate how much variety they have for foods and drinks. The place also gets extra brownie points for having a lot of gluten free goodies available! They are still only a couple weeks in so there is still lots of room for...
