Palladium Business Hotel — Hotel in Montevideo

my hotel, was overall a four star review ,it would've been a five stars if I didn't have my last day a little bit of a bump with one of the front desk employees, beside that the manager there first name (Agustin) was a pleasure of a problem solver in all areas he goes above measures to try to make sure that everything is exactly how you would like your stay to be . Besides that a little bit of hospitality training is needed. Some of the employees are a bit rough around the edges and don't really get the concept of customer service !!! I believe the cleanliness of the hotel for being an old building in newly renovated is actually pretty good there are certain things that might amaze you that they do, but it's all for security reasons. The area has really the best (mall) as they describe shopping, accessibility to the beach across the street and splendid rooftop view with a rooftop pool. The food is actually pretty good I ordered some hors d'oeuvres and also some main dishes and lots of bar of course can't come here in the summer and not enjoy a good cocktail ! for being a four star hotel the bar drinks are not at a bad price or the beverages in the lobby. Overall being in the hospitality business for over 20 years,", I can say there are some things that could make much better today to reach that one extra star that's needed but if I was to have to come back, I would definitely stay here again without a doubt the fact that I am from this area ,and have not been around here in 36 years. I am glad I chose this spot and that all of my friends and family were able to come as guest to visit and enjoy all of the amenities with me. There are a few homeless and addics around the area, but nobody will bother you or anything ojt of thos world any other place doesn't deal with. Dont think twice book and enjoy your day his marvelous hotel in the heart of montevideo . The experience was very positive. Location excelent, very near to the WTC and Montevideo Shopping as well as to the river coast. At the Reception, after checking if there was any room already available, (it was earlier than the admission hour) as there was none prepared, they let us leave the luggage. The room was very well appointed. There was a big wardrobe with safe, a fridge, a kettle and complimentary tea bags. Also a smart TV set. Windows could be oscured with double roller curtains. Bathroom with good shower and good toiletris and towels. The only point that could be improved is the ventilation, suplementing it with an electric exhaust fan. Breakfast buffet was very good with selection of cold and hot dishes, beverages, fruits and pastries. Everything was continous resupplied. You can also have lunch and dinner at convenient prices. The hotel is located in a very nice area of Montevideo, right beside the World Trade Center complex and around the corner it has on one side the Rambla and the beach, and on the other a shopping center. There are plenty of restaurants close by and the Pocitos beach is a 15 minute walk away. The Lobby is very nice and the staff super helpful. We stayed in the Superior Room, it was in a corner of the building, in the 11th floor. The bed was a King size one, with soft linens and very comfy pillows. Breakfast is AWESOME. The variety of food and beverages is great, and the quality too. There were fruits (apple, melon, pineapple, orange, grapes), different breads, marmalades, cheeses and butter, eggs (fried, boiled, scrambled), sausages, bacon, pastries (cookies, cupcakes, puddings, etc.), juices, milk, tea, mate…! I will definitely return to this hotel when...
