Meriton Boutique — Hotel in Bukhara City

This is an absolute gem of a hotel, which has only recently been taken over by the current owner, perhaps the reason for few reviews. ||Which is a shame, because this is an amazing place to stay. The whole hotel is stunning inside, a blaze of colour and a riot of detail. From the fish tank reception with gorgeous lighting to the well apportioned rooms with equally spectacular décor. ||Our bed was very comfortable, the bathroom perfectly functional and everything spotlessly clean. IT was also only a short walk to the Lyabi Khause Square and all the action. ||Laundry was done quickly and to a high standard, and the owner had contacted us before to suggest a $6 taxi pick up from Bukhara train station, which is in fact 15KM away in the city of Kagan. My suggestion is you definitely take up this offer, as our ride ended up being $20 from a taxi outside the station, and that was bringing it down from $35||We didn't have breakfast as we had to catch an early train the next day, so the owner made us a packed lunch. ||Truly, the owner is such a kind and lovely lady, the service impeccable, the rooms spotless, everything works and again, the interior. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay in Bukhara. The place in the old town of Bukhara and at a walking distance from all monuments.
