We were a group of 12 (7 adults and 5 children), and while I understand that this can be considered a large table, the waiting time was unfortunately extremely long. The dishes arrived one by one, which meant some of us had already finished eating while others were just receiving their plates. For example, a simple pasta dish for a 6-year-old arrived around 1 hour and 30 minutes after ordering.
The portions were also quite disappointing: my marrow bone was almost empty, and my husband received only about six fries with his chicken tandoori. The overall value for money felt poor, especially considering we’ve been traveling across Uzbekistan for two weeks and have enjoyed many great restaurants for similar or even lower prices.
We arrived at 7:00 PM, and by almost 9:00 PM, not everyone had been served yet. Additionally, the service charge was 18%, which is higher than the usual 12–15%. The server was kind and polite, but unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the overall experience.

Read moreTandir has a nice ambiance and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Unfortunately, the dining experience was uncomfortable due to the heat. The air conditioning was running, but the space was too large and exposed to outside heat to stay cool. I was sweating and dripping all throughout the meal.
The menu was limited and lacked detail — no photos and minimal descriptions, which made ordering a bit of a guessing game. The food itself was disappointing. I ordered the tandoor chicken thigh, which came unexpectedly covered in a dairy-based sauce and was a very small portion (just a single drumstick). The grilled vegetables were okay and came in a decent variety.
Alcohol options are limited to wine and beer. Overall, not a place I’d be in a rush to return to. The one nice thing is that the service is welcoming...
Read moreHad the lamb shoulder in clay oven (tandir) which is a Bukhara speciality. Tasted good but... 1- waiter announce that the tandir in the menu is 2.6kg (which seems a lot in my opinion for a lamb..) and can feed 3 person 2- what came was much smaller 3- when Bill came, the 298000 sum lamb shoulder becomes over 490,000 sum because now the menu price is for half kilo and we get 800g 4- feels very much like bait and switch. Nowhere does the menu indicates that the price is by weight, as highlighted by photos of the menu updated to this site 5- After some complaining, we were finally charged the menu price 6- Still leaves a bad taste and feels like they are trying to take advantages of unsuspecting clients 7- would not go back...
