Home hotel — Hotel in Tashkent

This is one of the BEST hotels I have EVER stayed in for BOTH the Service and Facilities. It is run by a family who helped us and solved all of our problems. They CARED for us. We arrived at 2am and were so tired and needed breakfast - they arranged everything. I lost my Credit Card, they spent hours helping me look for it and eventually found it. Choose this hotel if you are a traveller and you want to be around people who will HELP you when you are tired, confused and need advice/support - it is hard to do things by yourself in a new country - you need these kind of people to make your experience smooth.

SUMMARY: Staff - it is a family run hotel, and the brothers who took care of us were so calm, so polite, so professional, so attentive, so understanding and so kind. English - for English speaking guests, the staff speak great English. They speak as well as those working in Professional Offices and the Official Airport Staff in Uzbekistan. Quality - the high standard is DEFINITELY like a European 4 Star Hotel - but in reality, I believe it is a 5 Star quality rooms and service. Location - it is 12 mins from Airport by Taxi, 5 mins to Tashkent Train Station (High Speed Train to Bukhara, Samarkand) Cleanliness - everything is perfect, spotless, sparkling, shining. The room, the bathroom, the cupboard, the reception, the corridors. Room - it is a large room (Family Suite) with a big radiator/heater (for winter), modern Air Conditioning (AC) for Summer, a good size fridge, a desk and two chairs. There were at least 3 plugs in total next to our beds. We only used two. There were more around the room I believe. Bed - the Mattress is SO comfortable! It is a German Mattress. The double mattress is actually KING SIZE - and it easily fitted 2 adults and a child. It is soft but very supportive. It is not hard, and it is not weak. I have heard beds in Uzbekistan can be hard. This was perfect! Pillows - they are plump, thick and soft. I wish I could take them home! Bed Sheets she Duvet - everything was bright white, ironed crisply, fresh smelling and 2 big Duvets were given for the Double (King) Bed and 1 big duvet for the single bed. Duvets were soft and comfortable. Breakfast - they cooked us breakfast and brought it to our room at 3am! It was beautiful and massive (see pictures). They made it for us within half an hour. You can also eat outside in their beautiful garden which has lighting at nighttime as well. Bathroom - it is sparkling clean and very modern. The shower is huge with a rain shower and standard shower. All toiletries are provided - toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo, bathroom slippers, bathrobes, hand/face towels and of course large bath towels. Shower pressure is good all round. WiFi - Hotel Internet was strong, fast and very stable. We were able to get all of our work done after the Airport SIM was not working for us and causing us problems. Shops and ATM - there is an ATM Cash Machine at the entrance door of the hotel, grocery shop next door to the hotel, BIG Supermarket is 5 mins walk from hotel. Restaurants - there are many from 2 minute to 5 minute walk from Hotel (some very close, some a few minutes away) Mobile Phone Shop (SIM Card) - UCell Shop is 5 minute walk from Hotel, it is better to get a SIM Card here instead of the Airport. They give very professional and quick service. Taxi and Transfers - the Hotel arranged EVERYTHING for us. We contacted them before arrival, they arranged Airport Pick Up for us. We were told to walk to the Tourist Information Kiosk inside the airport (after Passport and Visa Checks). It was opposite our luggage collection. They had our names printed on a paper and the airport staff walked with us from the airport to our Taxi. When we were leaving the Hotel, the hotel staff booked a taxi to Tashkent Train Station and even carried our Suitcase to the Taxi for us!

We picked the hotel based on its location and good reviews. It is walking distance to ATM, metro, good restaurants and there is a shop next door. ||When we arrived, the check in process was nice and we felt really welcomed. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel is very small and it feels cozy. That’s what we were hoping for, lovely!||The breakfast we had to order the night before, but it was amazing. Everyone kind of knows what they normally have for brekkie anyway, right? The selection was great and the taste was fantastic. It was served in the garden outside. ||The main thing about this hotel is people- outstanding staff! They were SO helpful, kind and smiley! We came across different people in the mornings, after breakfast, during the day or before bed and they were always up for a small chat. All of them! They also helped us sort out the train tickets and taxis around. Nothing was a problem. Thank you, you made us love Uzbekistan. ||Really great place to stay in, for a night...

5 reasons why I would highly recommend Home Boutique Hotel:

Location. It is 10mins away from the airport. 10mins away from Tashkent City and maybe 10-15mins away from Magic City. It is also close to several shops/restaurants!

Rooms. CLEAN- very clean. We had no problems with the room. It was perfect! We were able to rest as the beds were very comfortable.

Service. Abu was very helpful! He managed to give us a room even if its a last minute. 🫣 He is also very kind in assisting us. Also, shoutout to the other person in the reception, I didn’t get the chance to learn his name- but he helped us booked taxis. Thank you!

Breakfast. Never thought I’d be able to finish my breakfast on our last day. We had a really nice breakfast- everything was tasty especially the pancake and porridge.
