HUMO HOTEL — Hotel in Tashkent

Me, my wife, my 3 beautiful kids and other family members all stayed here and had a wonderful time. The Roof is nice and air conditioned with a nice open space on top. My wife and i made love on a chair in the "Lobby" and no one said anything! That is how you respect your customers, although we were asked to clean up afterwards (which we forgot to do). ||||The kids had a great time in the play area and had a lot of fun playing in the streets with the cats and criminals. The Jakes in the street provided the entertainment with fights almost every night and at least one overdose every few days.||||Sadly our trip had to be cut short though due to my daughter walking into an alley and being drugged and kidnapped but we found her and returned her back to the hotel to which a excellent doctor spat on the wounds but forgetting the fact she was kidnapped it's otherwise a great place. ||||Our favourite addition to the place was the Chinese refrigerators which couldn't plug into the wall and the amazing staff. When i asked to leave i was swiftly hooked and returned to my room unconscious. The chef is a master at his craft, cooking his specialty, dry spaghetti with worms and debris! The food tastes excellent and i hope the effects aren't long term. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and comfortable. ||||The only big problem is the inexperience of the staff at the reception desk. ||||A member of the staff charged us three times the hotel fee, with two different credit/debit cards just because the receipt paper run out in the middle of the payment process (she only had to insert a new one in the terminal and reprint the receipt), and refused to give us a refund immediatly, not recognizing the pos actually took our money, even if we could see the money had been taken from our cards. ||||We also spent € 50 for an international call to Italy, because we had the will to solve this situation by ourselves with our bank.||||They give us the refund only 10 days after our arrival at home, after...

This is not a 4 Star Hotel although we stayed here on a Mercury Holidays tour that advertised 4 star hotels. The owner was sullen and unhelpful. The Manager was more helpful but told me that the hotel has NO STARS in the Uzbekistan star rating system and laughed when I told him this hotel had been advertised as a 4 star airport hotel. The owner and manager were more interested in their mobile phones than providing service. No staff to carry bags to rooms. No bar. Breakfast buffet was sparse and not replenished.
