Blossom Hotel — Hotel in Đà Nẵng

Stayed in the regular room for 2 nights. First , a disclaimer: the building is a family home with rooms to rent. The bottom floor is rented out as a Korean-themed convenience store (so more variety of water, snacks, toiletries, etc, certainly can be found), on the side you walk up one flight of stairs it's the lobby and dinning room of the family home. Two more floors are then the family home, with only floors 3 and 4 having guest rooms for renting out. That's a snug fit size if you are a solo, couple or a small group of travelers, but not a very large group. ||Room was clean. Has a small fridge. On-site laundry available. Rooms at the front end of building faces the Han River directly unblocked view. One of the receptionists spoke very good English, but if all else fails then get out a smartphone with wifi or data and use instant translate into Vietnamese. ||No breakfast on-site, but cafes and restaurants are littered all over the area (the building is in a concentrated tourist area with many small hotels, many of which have their own restaurants or rent out some floor space for others to operate). If you want street grub, a wet market with cooked foods and other things is across the street. ATM machines accepting major foreign-issued cards and physical banking branches are in the area too.||About 29 USD in total for the standard double-bed room per night for the location (walkable to the shopping streets, less than 10 minutes walk to Change Sculpture Museum, just a street away from the local cathedral, and riverfront view). No in-room safe in...

We stayed on the fourth floor. Small windows let lots of light in during the day. The shower was separate from the toilet area, but the opaque style glass doors/walls had footprints in them (kinda weird to see). Our trash can had some hair in it and the plastic from a water bottle. When my boyfriend went to use his towel a black hair fell out. The sheets weren't exceptionally clean looking, but didn't seem dirty either. Until we started seeing little bugs. Seemed like gnats but they didn't fly as much, although they did indeed fly... I killed probably 5 during our 3 nights there, boyfriend killed a couple more. ||||The AC did a really good job cooling down the small room so we didn't have much of a problem having to turn off the air when we left the room. Receptionists were really nice. We had to leave the key at reception whenever we left, not a big deal either. ||||Location is exceptional. We're above a K Mart which is good for stocking the room with snacks. Also around the corner is the boba/che place and the market we can buy fruits at.||||Obviously great location because its riverside. We also are next to the western food restaurant which is good for travelers.||||I normally have low standards, but the hairs kinda unsettle me and the bugs were annoying when we're laying in bed and feel crawling...

Well, to be fair the place is new, so if you are OK to make allowances and feeling charitable in that regard, then great!!! Definitely go.||||If you are going be aware of the following:||Unreliable. Don't expect your wake up calls to happen , set your own alarm.||||Unreliable - quadruple check any reservations they make for you. We arranged a hotel bus back from Hoi An. We arrived early - it had already left. Apparently had not even been told by hotel staff to wait for us! I was furious as they even had the audacity to tell my wife that she had not reserved the trip ( I was with her on the 3 occasions she reminded them)||||Unreliable - If they book you on a trip.. be SURE that the trip is going to happen. We were sent on a night time boat trip - arriving at the docks the operator informed us that the trip was cancelled due to a lack of passengers -Waste of a night for us.||||Breakfast - average. little to eat if you are Western.||||Positives:||||Lovely clean place, great rooms, loved the river view ...||Staff are all positive energies and very sweet.||||Despite the nagative feedback above I would still return - hopefully they will iron out all the glitches very...
