Tourist trap. There’s only hoards of Korean tourists here. The food is subpar and overpriced. The portions are the smallest I’ve seen in any authentic Vietnamese restaurant (not frequented by tourists),the guy who said the portions are generous probably never been to a real Vietnamese restaurant. The Banh Xeo and Bun Cha were the smallest saddest portions only enough for a child. You need to order at least 4 dishes for a couple to feel full. We also got the “fried squid rings” and it was not even squid, it’s some sort of processed minced meat made into a ring shape and deep fried. Tasted like basic chicken nuggets and nothing like squid. There’s only like only 3-4 actually Vietnamese dishes on the menu, the rest is overpriced seafood that the tourists love. The place is overcrowded with probably a hundred Korean tourists inside so that’s a sign you shouldn’t eat there.
Worst restaurant I’ve been to Da Nang so far. Huge disappointment like why is there a 4.8 (1000+) reviews for this place? It’s probably given by the tourists who were forced to come here by their tour guides and probably forced to give this place a good review. I also saw on the payment counter that if you give a good review you get a discount at the restaurant so the REVIEWS ARE...
Read moreI recently dined at NHÀ BẾP CHỢ HÀN and had a fun experience overall, but there were a few things that left me wanting more. The restaurant itself had a lively and inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff was friendly, which contributed to the positive vibe.
We tried the Vietnamese pancake, which was good, but it didn’t really stand out in terms of flavor or quality. While it was perfectly enjoyable, it didn’t offer the kind of unique taste or richness that I had hoped for. I’ve had better versions at other places, so it didn’t leave a lasting impression.
One area where I felt the restaurant could improve was in offering refills on tea. A little more attention to this would have been appreciated, especially since we were there for a while and could have used more to drink.
While the food was decent, I do think you can get higher-quality dishes for a better value at other spots in the area. The experience at NHÀ BẾP CHỢ HÀN was fine, but given the price and the competition around, it’s not a place I’d rush to return to anytime soon. That said, we did enjoy our meal and the overall atmosphere, so it might work for others looking for a casual...
