I visited this hotel before booking it, and it looked nice, but it wasn't the nicest hotel after I started staying in it.

I stayed 19 days at this hotel and I had to change rooms because the first room was really bad. It had some serious mold on the shower curtain. The paint was chipping off the walls, and the window opener thing was almost broken.

The second room was good enough, but not the best. It really smells of mold, especially in the bathroom. The shower curtain on this one also had mold on it. The curtains in the room were also stained and not cleaned properly. The beds were comfy though. Also, the dryer was making weird noises and it was not the best.

The bottle of the shower gel and hand wash was not working properly. The slippers they had in the room get very slippery, especially when the bathroom is wet.

The lights in the corridor are automatic and don't light up half the time. The reception people were helpful and good.

Overall, the hotel seemed nice when I first visited it, but it's really just an average hotel with a high price. There are much better hotels on the same street which are...

I had a great time at Hai Trieu Hotel thanks to Mr. Tuan. I had a bit of struggle with Agoda (highly recommend not to use this website due to their non-refundable and non-transferable issue) and he sorted it out smoothly. Best is to call their hotel if you can or google them on Facebook for the best price. He accommodated our weird requests in terms of our special dietary restriction and kept checking to ensure we had what we need. We were a group of 4 that needed 2 rooms of 2 twin beds and he made sure I had that rooms available before our actual checking time. The hotel also has a gym on the 10th floor for those who enjoy outdoor pools instead of the beach. Also, it’s 10 ish mins walk to the My Khe Beach and that makes the hotel stands out from other locations. Mr. Tuan is a go-to person in terms of local food and places to be. We extended our stay here by 2 nights. That was a mistake! We booked the same room again. However, we had to leave the room because apparently, we got an upgrade with the first booking, and the new room was supposed to be worse despite the higher price. So we checked out at 12, had to wait until 2 pm, and then could check in again. Early check-in would have been possible only with an additional charge. Furthermore, Thań ignored me after l informed him that his colleague had told us differently the day before. I have never experienced such disrespect. Outrageous! All this hassle, and in the end, we got the same room just one floor higher. Totally ridiculous. Moreover, the room was dirty. There were no new towels, toilet paper, or bottled water either.
