Booking and confirmation of room was smooth, turnaround of replies to queries was acceptable. It was quite value for money with the spacious room. So all is good...until we checked in.||||We stayed for 2 nights and had booked two double and one triple rooms. As we arrived quite late the first day, we expected to be checked in quite fast. However, we were only given two rooms and when we asked for the third, only then the staff realised there was a mistake. We were asked to wait for about 15 minutes while they prep up the last room. As we were tired, we just waited and got to the room as soon as we could to freshen up and get some sleep.||||As we had booked the triple room which was advertised to come with a seaview, we felt disappointed when the view out of that room was a wall! It was quite strange too because we expected the triple room to just have 1 single and 1 double bed, instead we were given the family room instead. We were not informed during check in. All in all, instead of 2 double and 1 triple rooms, we were given 2 triple and 1 family rooms. All this was brought up on the second day morning, as were getting ready to go out after breakfast. The reception staff stopped us and said we had to move into two rooms. Ahhh, now we understand - there was a mistake at the hotel's end, and they asked us to cramp into 1 triple and 1 family rooms. After much 'discussion', we agreed and asked for a refund. I am not sure whether the staff was inexperienced, she took quite a while to figure out how much to refund us. Also she had the balls to comment that we weren't charged extra for the bigger rooms on the first night as if it was our fault.||||Also upon check in we were asked for our passports, which we duly provided. However we expected our passports to be returned to us once the required information had been copied, but the reception staff said they will keep until the next day. We refused and insisted that we wanted our documents back. He agreed and asked us to wait at the side. THEN he continued to browse his FB or watching Youtube!!! I was quite upset and reminded him we need our passports back there and then, then only he proceeded to take snapshots of our passports. No apology, no anything.||||As breakfast was complimentary, we could not really complain that it was dismal... as were just served with a baguette, and a sunny side up egg. No (free) Vietnamese coffee but we did get a glass of tea when we asked. Service staff at the cafe/restaurant could not really speak English and even when we requested for tea, we were not asked whether we wanted it hot or iced. Oh well, service can be so much better.||||Checking out was initially straight forward as I have made the previous day's staff wrote down exactly the amount payable after they messed up with our bookings. We were also charged for 4 bottles of water, which my friend claimed she only had 2. Too tired to argue, we just paid and left.||||There are many hotels in Da Nang, and it is quite a competitive industry there. Maybe this is a new establishment but I hope they improve their services...
Read moreThe staffs do not speak good English, but simple English will do and they are really patient to understand what you need and trying to help out.||Me and my friend booked total 3 rooms for 5 nights , unfortunately we are not arranged on the same floor. But all in all the rooms are big and clean enough! The air con didn't work on the first night, but turns out it is about the remote control. So ask help from the staff and they will come to set it up for you. The only thing to complains about room is the toilet paper and towels, they don't fill them up after room cleaning and you need to request for it. Luckily the staff will bring it to your room no matter how late in 5 mins.|Need to pay attention to the towels and avoid making payment in lost of towels. ||The staffs are all very helpful and very nice ! |Even though they are not in night shift , they are willing to help you out in booking taxi at night. As you need to pay attention that transportation in Vietnam is very inconvenient for tourist. Great thanks are due to the helpful staffs.||They also help out in recommending good massage and spa, restaurant. |||The hotel is located on the edge of the city , but very convenient. 5 mins walk to the beach, 15 mins walk to the restaurants, 10 mins by car to reach the bridge and cross to the city centre. Quiet and convenience district with small local shop provide meals...
Read moreWe stayed in deluxe triple room with sea view. The room itself was clean and looked great. It was big, clean, with mini bar, safe deposit box, spacious bathroom with a bath. The problem was that it did not have any toilet paper, so I asked for some and was told that we will get some TOMORROW. It was quiet a surprise for us. Another surprise was breakfast, as it was not clear how the kitchen works we just sat down on the roof and were given some severely undercooked sunny side up eggs with some bread and ice tea. Kitchen staff did not understand much english, and we didn't bother to argue, but after we left a big part of our first breakfast in the plate, next day we got noodle soup. It was with both fish (including eyes) and chicken, we did not enjoy it and also found a hair inside. We asked for some coffee, it cost extra.||We wanted to go to the rooftop to enjoy some drinks and watch night lights at around 7 p.m, but it was locked even though it was supposed to be open till 10 p.m. If not for breakfast and lack of toilet paper the rating would be much higher.||Also the place of hotel is a bit far from a city center and all the...
