Nhà nghỉ Kara- Kara Beachside Guesthouse — Hotel in Đà Nẵng

I have been staying at Kara whenever I have business in Danang for close to 2 years now. It was the best value for the money. The place was clean and the receptionist and staff were great. Unfortunately, I have seen this guest house go down with their quality. Last week during my stay, I didn't get enough sleep due to people arriving from a night of drinking around 1 to 2 am. The folding metal gates at the front made a loud noise that it echoes through the the whole building. Then those people who came talked so loud from the stairs through the hallways. I called the front desk and the male receptionist said that there was nothing they could do about the problem. Another time, I complained about guests talking loudly along the hallways and since the walls are paper thin, you could really hear the conversation, again, I called the reception but the problem persisted. Before, when're I checked it, the bedsheets, blankets were clean and fresh. Now, a couple of times I have stayed, the blankets smelled like it was used by the previous guests of the room (yuck!).||The breakfast before was great and affordable and quite filling. Now, you have to wait forever for a breakfast with stale bread, cold coffee and runny eggs. For the price that I paid, I could have gotten a better breakfast elsewhere.||I leave early in the morning to jog and the reception area leading to the main door is packed of motorbikes I literally have to squeeze between them to get out. I had to wake up the receptionist to help me pull the motorbikes to give me space to get out. A definite fire hazard.||I think Kara must not be too confident that they are popular now but allowed the place quality to go down. They must be like they were before. Efficient and friendly staff. Clean rooms with complete amenities (now you have to ask for everything) and if you are going to serve meals, it should be given in a timely fashion.||Overall, an OK place to stay because it is cheap and the reason for my long rant is I am sad that now it is not that good compared to...

We stayed two nights and was first and foremost impressed with the showers. Got really hot and stayed hot. Good job Kara. Second most important is the bed, comfy and big. We stayed on the 3rd floor which really helped with the sound although we could still hear people checking in late (not really the hotels fault). Excellent 5 minute walking distance to the beach, can't beat that for the price. Taco Ngo is also walking distance which is a huge plus. The staff was a friendly and very cute Vietnamese girl who spoke English well. || My only problem was that we rented a motorbike and was told it would be fine to take to Lady Buddha and Hoi An. Well it did, it just didn't get us back haha. We broke down on the highway returning from Hoi An late at night and had to have a local family help us out to call the hotel (which couldn't really do much). So we were lucky enough to hail down a taxi but we refused to pay for it upon arrival. Thankfully the front desk boy working that night payed (reluctantly) for our taxi. Từ tiện nghi phòng nghỉ, dịch vụ đi kèm và receptionist . Họ rất thân thiện, nhiệt tình. Nếu có cơ hội tới ĐN lần nữa nhất định mình k quên lựa chọn ks Danang Beach. Cảm ơn KS đặc biệt là chị Boss đã đem tới cho mình và ny 1 kì nghỉ tuyệt vời
